Lovely couple that probably run this place, quick service and reasonable out of town price as expected. Had some good lunch deals too. Customer service was the winner here.

Best fish and chips we had for ages, highly recommended. Fish freshly battered and fried, chips golden and properly salted, no oil or greasy feel. Very good indeed!

Would have been 5 stars just a little too much salt. Fresh fish and nice crumb. Lovely and friendly staff. Chips were crisp and fresh. Would stop here again without question.

Chips were a bit overpriced and so salty they were inedible, I had to shake some of the salt out in a colander to be able to eat them. Would not go here again!

Awful. 16.50 for a paper thin crumbled fillet & half a scoop of chips. Waited for 25 mins after ghey mucked order up. Got home hungry & fish was so dry...not edible. 16.50 for chips? Terrible. What a waste of money

Great $5 lunch specials available until 2:30pm. Shop is closed 2:30-4:30. Very nice service and good food. Standard fare, good servings, cheap prices. For what it is, 5 stars! It's a fish 'n' chips shop, if you want something on a plate or grilled or green, try this place another time! Wouldn't mind driving through again just to for the friendly service!!! Thanks!

The worst fish and chips ever.All 3 of us couldn't eat them greasy fish was rubbery batter horrible. Chips greasyOld owners were fantastic I won't be back under the new owners

Awesome food, cooked perfect. just love the fish bites and garlic chips. excellent prices and really good service. I now pull in every holidays when I'm going through Otaki the mokos.
