A very professional and caring family run funeral home. Thankyou for the wonderful care you provided to our sister, daughter, mother and nana. Your warm and genuine interactions with our family have been appreciated. The little things such as the extra effort taken to enable our mother to kiss her daughter prior to closing the casket and facilitating many family members traveling from Dunedin and further afield time with Joyce will be remembered fondly. My beautiful mother passed away a few months ago and we used Waters Funeral home. We were so impressed with the service that we got. They are so caring and very helpful and discussed things that we hadnt even thought of. It was such a hard time, the morning she passed was our sons wedding day which put extra pressure on us but they reassured us they would look after her. They did exactly what we asked for and Mum was returned to us the next morning which was a Sunday. Several people commented on what a lovely service it was. Nothing was a problem. Thank you so much for making a very sad occasion just that little bit less stressful.

Could not thank Waters enough for their outstanding care of our mum. From picking mum up when she passed right up to the very end, everything ran smoothly. Nothing was hassle and even when i'd randomly panic thinking of something that needed to be done the'd already sorted it. Everyone we dealt with were genuinely kind, caring and patient. They made a very stressful time less stressful and we were able to just worry about being with mum. My mum looked absolutely beautiful and we were so happy with everything they did. Sad service...my huni had to wait alday...no communication...when I ask when is my huni dew out..I got a ...I do not handle his files..when I asked who does...I got no reply...sad service..

Words cannot express our appreciation for you, Caroline. You took diligent care of us from beginning to end at a painful time. Our beloved aunty Paulene, had the most beautiful funeral. It was exactly what she wanted -we could not have asked for more. Richie, thank you, for the loving care of our aunty and for going the extra mile with the home visit. Totally professional and very caring. My son looked beautiful. I was able to stay with my boy through the whole process ( except for the embalming part). I hope I never have to use them again. But if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Reon. Reon even came to the house to check that my boy was ok and to give him a facial. Something I have never come across before. Would definitely recommend Water Funerals in Papatoetoe.

It’s been a month today since the passing of our very loved mother, nana, auntie and darling sister Johanne Hepi. We would love to thank Ritchie and Caroline and their team for their love and compassion and support throughout the whole procedure to ensuring that Johanne received the fantastic care she deserved. Like all whanau that are going through the process of grieving, we the whanau would not have been able to proceed without your help and therefore from our hearts Thank You All.
