Nice spot with great cheese scones. They even toasted it for me which makes scones 10x better.

Fantastic Cafe. Food was GREAT. Garden was BEAUTIFUL. Staff was AMAZING, friendly and helpful. BONUS parking easy for a caravan and got ice cream to go. So far BEST CAFE experience in New Zealand.

Lovely food quickly made on a cold day. Bluff oysters.Friendly staff and lots of customers coming and going. A very popular place. Across road from Ettrick gardens a great place for spray free vegetables at good prices.

Benger Garden Cafe & Chalets
Stayed in the chalet on New Year's day. It was one of the best stays throughout our journey in South Island. Everything was clean and tidy and it felt really comfy and relaxing. Definitely a memorable experience.The great breakfast and coffee served by the friendly staff, which was included in our stay, made our experience just perfect. Would strongly recommend it!

We stayed in the chalet for a night and really enjoyed its uniqueness and privacy. Clean, comfortable and positioned within a lovely garden. A hearty breakfast (many options available) in the cafe the following morning.

Wonderful stay in the beautifully decorated and designed chalet. Great menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. An awesome little secret gem.

Have not stopped here since having a hokey pokey ice cream way back. Great surroundings, very neat and tidy. Great outdoor area with a playground for the children. Variety of cabinet food along with a menu. Dine in or takeaway. Plenty of parking available. I will be back.
