Swiss-Belsuites Victoria Park, Auckland

Our group of 6 people stayed at the Swiss-Belsuites Victoria Park, and to our unpleasant surprise, they withdrew $100 from my bond without informing me. After 3 phone calls to find out why, I was told that the bond had been taken from me because of wall damages".I am very angry

My stay here was very poor very unpleasant...firstly when we first checked in the bathroom was dirty there was skit mark on the main toilet bowl not cleaned properly. Secondly beware this hotel will charge you $300 for smoking in the balcony which is stupid. Thirdly it's very overpriced for what it's actually worth. There are other better options around the city for less price. Won't ever stay in this hotel again. Would Give 0 stars if I could. Not worth the $1100 I paid for one night.

Suite is dirty when we checked in Thursday, I booked to have it vacuum and clean the next day Friday, Saturday, no one attend to it, we noticed the cleaners are on the floor. Not hygiene. Not happy.My husband's back got rash due allergies.Respond to your reply; it's too late to apologize, you have 3 nights and 4 days to rectify it, I requested the unit to be vacuum straight away once we checked in. Plus the commonarea is dirty and mouldy odor. Looks like never been vacuum or carpet clean it.

stayed for 11 nights, great room but location not the best. In a map, its about 10 mins to the CBD area (Queen St), but its uphill, so it makes it feel like its longer. Also worth noting that my rate included breakfast, but it was very very basic.

We were looking forward to staying here and expected a clean room with a cool view and apartment amenities. We were given room 601 which was the worst smelling room I’ve ever had while traveling and especially in New Zealand. I have no idea if someone smoked and chemicals were used to cover it, or it was fumigated or the carpets and surfaces had something sprayed on it but it was so strong and revolting. Left the balcony door open all night and it didn’t help air out the place. The kitchen sink smelled like rotten fish. The 6th floor wasn’t very high so mostly you will see people on the street and hear traffic. These units are so high volume and worn. It’s like what a nice apartment used to be without thousands of people staying in them. We tried to have things addressed but cleaners only sprayed some lemon scented cleaner in the sink and bathroom. It did not get rid of the strong smell. They know it smelled bad and lied and said it was normal.I don’t think every room stank like that it was so bizarre. The people at the front desk were often chatting in the back and only 1 guest can be helped at a time. We weren’t able to wait forever while others were being assisted and had to get some food before places closed. It was our last stay in NZ for our honeymoon and we tried to spend only sleeping time in the room because of the smell. My throat hurt so badly the next day and I was coughing a lot in the morning. I just felt like the staff did not take concerns seriously. This place is meant to make money and not have things fixed or improved. The shower drain was pretty gross and the grate was broken over it and sharp too. This place could be nice if it had proper upkeep and care.

We had a pleasant stay over the weekend in the Swiss super-suite with our 3 babies. Beautiful views, clean and lots of space. However, we did have minor problems… Upon arrival the receptionist didn’t give me any information about parking or how to get to my room and what level I’m on, he was not helpful at all.Our shower was blocked and water came out from the drain hole.The bathroom lock on the door was broken and door didn't not lock.Our power in the lounge cut out during the day.The bedding had no duvet covers just two sheets with a bedding in between.Not only that but every room across, above and under us were all partying on both nights.And on the second night we found a large cockroach crawling in the kitchen sink.I also haven’t heard anything about receiving my bond back as it’s been longer than 3 business days. We kept the room in perfect condition with no damage so I only imagine getting my it back.Would love to hear back from someone asap!

Had a great time with the family. Room was fabulous, they upgraded me which was fantastic. I can see the SkyTower from my room. The staff were kind and friendly. Special thanks to Abby for taking care of us.

I don’t usually write reviews, and I wouldn’t if the staff would answer my call!!! This hotel has the worst customer service I have ever been to, so unprofessional. From the moment we walk in there, to check in and the moment we checked out so unwelcoming and very judgmental attitude. We had left an expensive speaker behind in the room which yes is our bad and stupid of us but it was mistake, left it on the bench. I called within 30mins of leaving the hotel to say “hey we forgot this please can someone keep it safe and we will come back and get it” over that time I think I had called more than 10 times with no answer, every time I called it would pick up then hang up. Then when I finally get ahold of them after 4 days of calling leaving messages and left 2 emails and they say sorry we missed your call and I seen your email? But didn’t even reply to it ?!! Then a couple of days later they finally get back to us and say house keeping team did not find it??!!! So obviously it has been stolen. It is also an item which is worth money, which makes this situation worse. So unprofessional never answer there calls and very pathetic customer service. I would not recommend going to this place. I really hope whoever runs this place, gets some staff who have some care as the hotel itself it very nice but the team definitely let it down and we will not be going back.

Good location, breakfast selection was less than impressive.Maybe don’t offer something if it’s not done well.We didn’t even bother with any of the food and ended up ordering Uber eats for breakfast.Room carpet was dirty and had hair on the ground from previous guest in one of the bedrooms.Probably wouldn’t stay here at $750nzd a night.Much better places to stay in akl

Such a poorly run hotel. We waited over an hour to check in. Staff were extremely rude and unhelpful upon arrival, not acknowledging us, we were clearly a little confused about how to get around the hotel and not one person helped us navigate ourselves. We left an item there accidentally and probably have called over 40 times over the past 5 days, and have only now just gotten a reply back from someone saying there was no item found in the clean". We even made sure to call the hotel 15 minutes after we left
