Lovely vibe, really nicely lit bar area and seating, fairly spacious. Staff were mostly friendly, menu had many options-I can see would be a great place if you love a bit of a drink vibe and nibbles. As for brunch itself being a brunch gal, it was fine. Nothing particularly outstanding, the chai was just a chai, the eggs benedict was standard albeit a bit lack luster, I’ve definitely had better presented, tastier, satisfying bennys for similar cost. Nice place to gather a group of friends but if you’re looking solely brunch wise then will be better options out. If only in the city then, not a bad choice city’s a bit lackluster these days!

Wow! We walked past a lot of cafes not knowing what we were feeling like and then stumbled upon this legend. It was perfection. The massive glass doors, the stunning set up, with a very earthy and warm ambience were too intriguing to miss. The food, the food, what in the actual heck!?! It was amazing! The use of quality ingredients and a good amount of it was very noticeable. The menu was fun and interesting. The coffee was smooth and divine. I have to come back to try the truffle mushrooms and the Turkish eggs. Next time!

We came by for dinner here as a celebration. We booked to make sure to get a table. The place isn't too hard to find on Lorne Street. The restaurant felt more like a hotel lobby than a restaurant due to its openness. We were seated by the bar which was nice. The menu is decently sized and they also have an interesting drink menu. We grabbed a few items to share. The lobster mac n cheese was amazing. It had a nice flavour and very luxurious. The duck liver creme brulee was also very moreish. The tuna tataki nicoise salad wasn't bad and the ceviche was also salad like. We did order the butchers cut but they didn't put it through. There was also a wrong wine order too. We were wanting to order dessert but there was no one around to do so, so we just left without it.The food is nice but the service was a bit of a let down as it meant we missed out on food.

We had a great time for our lunch _ group of 7, we booked online 1 hour before. The cocotte (soft boiled eggs with soldiers/cheese/ham) was delicious. Excellent service and great wine selection

Found this place by accident walking down Lorne St. The decor is open plan urban retro. The main waitress who is French was a delight. So friendly and an asset to the place. Food was great, so tasty. We had the Sour Dough, Duck Liver Crème Brûlée, Butchers Cut steak & Ceviche (this raw fish was the best I have had). The servings are small (except for the steak). We wanted Oysters and unfortunately they did not have any to offer. The only thing I can fault is they need a wider selection of food for the dinner menu. But overall great experience and a good find.

We came for brunch - I got mushrooms on toast and everyone else in my party got the crepes, and we got fries to share. The mushroom toast was good but nothing special I haven’t tried at other brunch places. The layout is a little strange, there’s no obvious booth or indication where to go when you enter. I didn’t know where to go at first since no one noticed that I came in either but luckily another person from our group had already come in first and waved me over.I love Atelier but I was honestly expecting the worst due to all the mixed reviews. It was honestly fine, not amazing not awful just fine. The staff were pretty friendly and the wait time was okay, but given it wasn’t too busy that day because of the weather. I would visit again to try the crepes. It seems like the place has potential but might need to refine the menu a bit.

Came here for brunch. Ordered crepes and croque madam. The food was good but the coffee was quite average for Auckland - machine needs calibration or something. Great service and groovy atmosphere. Will try again for dinner as it’s also a bar!

You wouldn’t/ shouldn’t miss this place! So chic, aesthetically pleasing with an outstanding service! The French guy wearing cap was super warm and accommodating. The whole staff was attentive and very helpful. The Nicoise salad is a must have❤️

I finished my wonderful diner with this tasty lemon curd donut. The place is so beautiful that we had to stop by. We were treating so well by the staff, they were all so lovely to us.The food is not only beautiful but delicious, we had the niçoise salad, very fresh, and the butcher’s cut, so juicy. The wine list is endless, the owner recommended such nice ones.We will be back shortly for another great night at Paname.
