An amazing variation of rock colours and patterns, limited parking if the weather is hot, early morning or evening is best the time for a walk.

08th December 2022Was my first time stop at this womderfull gem spot me amd my dog went for an early morning walk on beach a surfer turn up went surfing and sum dolphins came in and swam bob up and down gently next to his board at rear of waves around him bring the dolphins fins and backs do there stuff gently around the surfer board was amazing to see and seen the dolphins swim and shoot in and out of water going tale slaps splashes watched dolpins do thos for bout one and half hours absoluty stunning beautifull spot

Gemstone Beach is Stunning! Beautiful big open beach with limestone cliffs. You can spend hours looking at all the beautiful stones! Beautiful warm winds in the summer but equally as stunning in a cold winters day!

Great beach to bring kids and have a fossick. Not a good beach for swimming however. And be mindful of trying to drive down onto the beach. I've seen a 4WD belly deep in dry sand. I'd be careful in watching kids near the waters edge here as well. As I said - its not a good swimming beach, very steep drop off right at waters edge, not a gentle gradient that you might expect on other sandy beaches.

Great beach! Can easily use an hour or 2 here just sifting through all the stones on the beach looking for different colours. We got there when the tide was quite high but that was actually really good because each time a wave would go out, we could see all the stunning rich colours of the stones.

Awesome beach with great smooth beach stones. We had a really pleasant visit here collecting rocks. We arrived at mid tide, and on the way back we did have to wade through a small inlet that had quite a fast flowing tidal flow in and out with the waves. You need to be careful crossing this if the tide is coming in. Beautiful place overall.
