Competitive fuel pricing. By the main road and tight on the other side if BP fuel. This is a 24x7 self service station offering 91,98 petrol and diesel. Dustbins are provided.

This place is self-service, but the keypad is pretty easy to follow. It's clean, uncluttered, has window washing facility and several bays, so most of the time you can drive right in and start pumping. There's no covering; pretty uncomfortable on a wet day.Best of all, the price was right.

Always has the cheapest petrol between Wellington and Taupo and has led to a reduction in the price of fuel by about 15% in Taihape. Thanks Gull!

Since there's no decent 98 or higher octane around between Auckland and Wellington that's fairly priced, this is the only one worth stopping to fill up from for your performance vehicle or family hauler. Cross the street for food at BP or Maccas.
