Pukeko Cafe & Function Centre
Went in to get some food before going to the farm. Very disappointed, the chicken nuggets and chips for the kids had 2 chicken nuggets (that's it?!!) That tasted only of fat. They tasted like they had been recycled and triple fried. Only came with 1 teaspoon serving of sauce on the side. Same for adults spring rolls. Adults also not impressed with food. Won't bother next time.

I loved this cafe for their amazing food and great hospitality. We had pokeko chicken burger and mango blueberry muffin. The food was delicious and I must say they have the best muffin in town.

Food is good taste wise and quality wise but only 2 pieces of chicken nuggets for kids food is a bit small! Great space to sit and very clean. Thank you

Was greeted by friendly staff from the start, to eat I had a classic fish n chips which was a good plate full and delicious, my partner had a ceasar salad which she said was YUM, my daughter had the chicken nuggets Cheerios and fries that she devoured with absolute pleasure, it was a delightful experience at Pukeko cafe, all the staff were very nice happy and helpful, would definitely go back, oh and had a coffee to takeaway which was also delicious! The roaming farm animals also just makes it such an awesome place!

Lovely place to relax after visiting the farm. Food was really good and tasty too. Really peaceful atmosphere inside and great variety of food and sweet treat choices. Definitely going back.

A fantastic country/farm cafe with a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, and a great atmosphere. Delicious food, great coffee and exceptional service. Peacocks just roam into the cafe as well which was a novelty.

Nice cafe with a good selection and reasonable prices. The food was yum.Only suggestion is that it seemed the pies were warmed up in a microwave which doesn’t crisp up the pastry… and an air fryer or other device maybe be better

We visited for breakfast before heading next door to Kiwi Valley. Friendly, welcoming staff greeted us and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. Food was reasonably priced and came out quickly. It was delicious, decent sized servings and great coffee. We'll definitely be back. +5 stars!
