Handy Rentals New Plymouth

This is my second time using Handy Rentals. Once in Wellington and now New Plymouth. I wont go anywhere else now.Jono is wonderfully helpful, friendly and quick to respond. The van was clean, so nice to drive, really good value for money, I think the cheapest around. Pick up and drop off was easy.I don't hesitate the five star review or high recommendation.

Service itself was great, but the van was not functioning as it should have been. When the tail lift was down there was no ramp that folded down to wheel furniture onto, so that was a real negative. Also when the tailgate reached the ground it didn't sit flat and kept bouncing up and everyone that helped us move tripped over it, so a real hazard. The main thing that made us angry was that we were asked to fill the van back up with fuel before returning, firstly it wasn't full when we picked it up and we can now see why as when we went to fill it up before returning it the fuel nozzle kept clicking off before it was full. Because of this money was taken out of our bond. Something not right there !!! Not satisfied with our experience.

The guys at Handy Rentals were super helpful and quick to respond. They assisted me to decide which vehicle would be best for my cargo size. Thanks for all the help.

I have now used Handy Rentals New Plymouth twice, they are a great team and extremely accomodating to all my last minute requests. The vans I used were in great condition, pick up and drop off super easy and overall a great experience. Thanks again.

I rented a large truck used over a day for a furniture and box move to a storage facility. The truck was clean and everything worked well. The team were super friendly and very helpful. They took the stress out of the day! I will definitely use Handy Rentals again and highly recommend them. Thanks team:)

The truck was really easy to book. Follow-up to get everything signed before collection was easy and online. The truck was in good condition and travelled well, although it did take A LOT of diesel. I would hire again when moving house.
