Lady running shop is an absolute gem. Will do many many things to acquire their fries with garlic butter and chicken salt. Have brought tears to my eye many a time. No matter how many hotdogs I buy they’re always perfectly cooked 15 minutes after I phone up. Would recommend to a friend, would have with the family, will eat until I can’t.

Cheap food with good portions and good service. All done by one kind woman working hard by herself. Chips, fish, hotdog and fried rice all at the same time while serving other customers. Open late while others are all closed. Shop could be a little more well presented.

Have been here a few times and each time the last at the counter had been great. My first visit was the standard burger and chips which was tasty. The second visit was even better, cashew chicken. The serving size was large and included a lot of chicken.

I love Mornington Takeaways!! The lady who works there makes almost everything herself and it always tastes amazing! The store is always very clean and tidy and the staff and friendly and helpful. I recommend that you try the chicken satay burger or anything else on the menu.

I hardly ever make reviews but I just have to, this is NOT the best chip shop at all. I think you can judge a chip shop by the thickness of their chips and the fry that they are cooked in, and this chip shop has the dregs of potatoes for chips, honestly if you go there get the chips and see for yourself, thin and stiff. So if you want quality then DONT go there. Until they have a change in management and change the value they associate to their food to the community, they wont get any better reviews from me.

Best so far I have found in Dunedin, they make their own chips!! And Curry Rolls. Good sized fish. Their hamburgers are not brilliant so stick to the F&C!

Located in Mornington shopping centre it is easily accessible and in a very good position. Because it's located on a main thoroughfare parking can sometimes be a hassle. Food is nice the only problem is they are very heavy handed on the salt which can make it tough going to eat. Food well cooked.
