Staff clearly completely disinterested in providing any type of service

Great service here. The EFTPOS system wasn't working with our Farmlands card but Freya kept her cool, stayed on the phone to the IT department (and delayed her lunch break) until the issue was sorted. Other members of the team kept us chatting and entertained while we waited. A really nice, professional bunch of people here—thanks, guys. We'll definitely be back.

Got some great fittings

I was very impressed with my visit - my recent phone call was remembered by the staff member I had spoken to 10 days ago. My problem was resolved promptly.A smart, cheerful group of friendly ladies.Unusual in this day and age !

We first met Freyja, Manager of the Nelson branch back in April of 2019 shortly after we’d decided to build a house. We were very impressed with the variety and quality of light fittings offered in the store as well as the friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism of each of the staff.Freyja was instrumental in helping us plan what fitting would look best where once we had made our initial selections. When we were unsure of any fitting Freyja was always happy to help us think through our design plan. She also went above and beyond and contacted our electricians direct when we were unsure of any details and to ensure everything allowed for was exactly how we wanted it to be.Once we had finalised our fitting choices, Freyja documented it all for us including pictures of each fitting which she also supplied to our electricians so that the detail could be included in the overall electrical plans.Now that our house is a few weeks away from handover, Freyja and her team members Fiona and Beryl assembled the fittings for us and this involved hundreds of individual crystals and lots and lots of tiny hooks. This was meticulous work where each hook and it’s crystal had to be individually lined up so that all the crystals for each fitting were in perfect alignment.Freyja and her team have done an incredible job with a major aspect of our build - our feature lighting and their expert input and assistance will without doubt enhance the beauty of our home. They have been an absolute pleasure to deal with and we recommend them and Direct Lighting unreservedly.Carol and Rob
