I called them at the last second and they managed to fit me in even though it meant they stayed open a little past their closing hours. Great haircut as well.

I came here after repeated disappointment with barbers and wondered if the cost upgrade ($65 here vs $25-30 at a barber) might yield better results. It was. On my first visit, I was given to Jacinta, who I have since returned to for round two.Upon arrival, I am greeted and sat down. We have a decent discussion on what I want. Afterwards, your hair is washed - thoroughly and gently with a bit of a scalp massage.I am completely clueless on hair (shameful for a gay guy). After it was cut, she showed me how best to use my hair wax (suffice it to say I was doing it wrong!) and how to find the right line to part the hair along. I enjoyed the patient, customer-focused ethos that the stylists offer.And during the cut, you're enjoying a glass of water/tea/coffee (good coffee, I might add).Yes, I will be a repeat customer.

I have been going to Ken @ Ponsonby's Hair Establishment since 1983. Since he retired I have met Michelle.It has always been a superb salon.

Had my blonde refreshed by their new senior stylist from Melbourne and was so happy with the colour, my hair feels great!Also saw Dan in the past who was lovely and gave me product recommendations that have made my hair so much stronger

I have been going to Ken for nearly 15 years now. He is the most fabulous hairdresser I have ever had. I have difficult hair that most stylists fail with - it just goes flat. Ken, however, brings out the bounce and natural wave. I always feel good about myself after visiting the salon.

Beautiful salon!!! All the staff are awesome! Extremely happy with my colouring, Vanessa truly is a blonde expert. Reasonably priced compared to other salons around the area. Already booked my next appointment. Can't wait!
