Milwaukee tools and most other major brand names, they give great rebates when you wait for them. Also, their range of tools are by far the best deal in New Zealand.

The indian guys english is average and doesn’t really listen properly, the island guy is good; one of the maori boys there seems to have an attitude problem; maybe got em on a bad day. We all have em.

Recently needed a grinder and dust shroud for a job, went online and found one that sounded ideal, the toolshed brand, visited the Penrose branch and bought grinder and dust shroud, tried to fit but had issues levelling the grinding disc, and when I turned on the grinder there was a major grease leak,took back and swapped,the staff had the same issue with fitting the shroud, we decided to try another one but still had the same problem, the disc was too far into the machine and required a thick packer to bring closer to where it should be, there are no instructions telling you this but they really aren't made as a fitting pair, it does not do what it's supposed to do, I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.I give Penrose 5 stars for the excellent service but can't give zero stars for the 2 products.These need re designing as when finally tried to use, so much dust was escaping from the shroud even though a commercial vacuum was being used.Grinder has completely burnt out not by heavy usage but not designed to be used.This machine might be ok as a non concrete grinder, but will be trying for a refund.

I went to your store today and presented my (Hitachi) reciprocating saw which was broken to Julian for repair and was informed that I needed the sales receipt to continue, Julian started to search for it in 2019 (a date I supplied) and came up empty handed, my company is very large and many sales appeared, eventually I said maybe 2018 and a short time later he found it.Julian demonstrated exactly what is required for customer service and made it an enjoyable experience,I would like to see that he gets recognised his professional approach and customer support throughout the whole transaction.Well done Julian you made it a great experience.CheersA satisfied customer

My 1 stop shop for all that is Milwaukee.Great staff. Knowledgeable and helpful. Always got what you need and even stuff u didn't know u needed until you saw it.

Huge range of products. Very helpful & friendly staff. Comprehensive paper & online brochure. Monthly specials. Google maps however takes you to rear of store but parking is at the front.

Asked for my email and physical address for warranty purposes - proceeded to spam me and send me addressed physical junkmail without my opt-in. This is in violation of the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 and other commerce law. Not impressed. Staff was very friendly - but management needs to train them on this.
