Had my bike service there recently and it was a full service, $1,400 worth. A few weeks later I hear an enormous crack and lose all drive. The pedals turned but the rear cassette did not turn the wheel. On a closer inspection the through bolt for the rear wheel had come loose and that had broken something in the drive train. Took me over an hour to push the bike back to the car.I will probably be told that I should check all the bolts before each ride but seriously, how many people do this. Wheels should not come loose so soon after a full service. I have bought two bikes from here but I will not be back.

Finally got around to getting myself a mountain bike and these guys were super helpful and very knowledgeable. Didn’t have the bike I wanted in stock but they managed to get it down at no pressure in buying it. Ended up with buying it and super happy with the experience. Will back for sure.

I haven’t been to this store yet, but from the reply to each of the lowest reviews , I can feel their professionalism, respect for every customer and sincere attitude. I think I can trust them and will go to visit this store for repair . I will review again afterwards .

V bad attitude / customer service . Went in to ask if a off-the-shelf Shimano part would be required to correctly line up a disc rotor, the person who served me (Alex) was completley disinterested / didnt know the answer to a simple enquiry, nor did he take the initiative to seek the help of someone else in the shop. He also referred to me as 'mate' several times including on the phone! Such an unprofessional business that only seem interested in bikes they sell or anything that involves lycra, anyone else is not welcomed. I was also after a set of Fox 40s which I have since purchsed elsewhere due to the contempt I faced. Not recommend.

MEC is awesome, will definitely be shopping here from now on. The team are always helpful and were happy to sort me out with a large cardboard bike box for shipping my bike overseas. 100% recommend them!

Recently moved to town and needed to find a service shop. Really happy I went with these guys, reasonably priced, good communication, thorough work and called before carrying out any extra expense work. My bike isn't from a brand they carry but they treated it well and got me booked in no worries. Stoked to have a new local shop.

Amazing service! Booked in for a simple sealant and suspension top-up, received a call shortly after to say my front brakes were shot and need replacing. I said I couldn't afford it right now but they phoned back and offered to replace them free of charge so that I my bike is safe out on the road.Really appreciate it team, I'll see you for an upgrade soon!
