Couldn't flaw this place. The staff are amazing, warm and welcoming! The beds are comfy, hot showers and accommodating to everything you could ask for. Even the small things count! Dark face washers for the girls to remove make up! Very clean place. Delicious breakfast, washer and dryer available if needed and great price. Family of 3 from Australia for 2 weeks and hands down favourite place to stay in NZ.

Julie and Mike are extraordinary people. We visited from the US in May 2023. While we were staying there, I became ill. Julie immediately moved us to the quiet motel part of the grounds where we remained for ten days. It was quiet, comfortable and clean. Julie was always checking in on us, making sure we had everything we needed. She even took me to the grocery store when I felt better. Truly the nicest people who helped us out when we most needed it. I am so grateful. Highly recommend staying here. You will not be disappointed.

I was just visiting a friend but the room she was in was lovely, with a super comfy bed and all very clean. She was in a room in the old house so lots of character. The whole building was clean with a nice vibe. And it's a5 minute walk to the shops in Central Dunedin. I'd stay there.

Hosts Julie and Mike were incredibly accomodating, bonus free dog! This is a beautifully restored building. Love the retained and exposed history combined with the modern comforts. Double glazed windows helped mitigate the occassionally rowdy drunks.

Don't let the budget prices fool you. This is lovely place. We stayed in a deluxe studio and it was beautifully appointed and spacious with a comfy bed. I have paid considerably more at nearby motels and not liked them half as much. Will be recommending to all my friends.

Hosts Julie and Mike and Otto (dog) are more than accommodating. Our stay over four nights was brilliant, super comfy firm beds, spacious unit, shower facilities brilliant good hot water .Great amount of space for our son to play with his toys.Close to all amenities a 10 minute walk to hospital, museum and retail stores. Everything you need for your stay we will definitely return if we need accommodation in the future. Thank you again

I really enjoyed stay here. Hosts are very understandable, provided flexibility and upgraded my stay to make my stay much easier. Room is very clean and comfortable. Great location, highly recommended

Stayed 2 nights one in the hotel, one in a motel unit. Clean, well appointed ,comfortable, accommodation. We stayed when our campy broke down. Julie Mike and their daughter couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you. Would recommend
