NZ Safety Blackwoods

I had read the reviews and didn't hold out much hope.So I went in and was greeted with a cheerful staff memberWent down to look at the boots. A staff member was just finishing up with two other people. So pointed them to checkout and greeted me and we got down to fitting me with boots. He took the time to ask me what type of work I did if I was in wet conditions on my feet all day. So I said I needed boots to deal with chemicals hot water different floors. Affer 4 different products we settled on a footwear that met my needs. Very happy. The guy told me he had only been there a short time sorry didn't catch his name but he rocks thank you.

Beware of the 'KAREN' with red streaks in her hair, Very Unprofessional behaviour, unreasonable, straight up RUDE, illogical, REFUSED to comply with the consumers guarantees act / relevant laws! It was a simple swap for shoe size and it turned into the worst experience I've ever had with a retail store. Go to te rapa NZ safety blackwoods if you need something.

I again attempted a visit to these....people. I work 0700-1730 mon-fri.....these muppets have no late night, or Saturday opening. I like to try things on for fit, so internet shopping isn't ideal. There was one staff member working and a dozen customers (several with inquiries) The prices of things I wanted to look at were not relevant to the products hanging there, so i finally was able to ask the staff member about them, and he didn't have a clue, so said he'd look them up on the computer and disappeared out the back. I continued to look at other things and had more questions, but he was now at the counter and with another customer. I waited as long as I could, and there was another staff member farting around with paperwork and ignoring customers, so as I was on my lunchbreak, I left the armfull I items I had found and left. Wont be going back...not worth the hassle. I wanted to give no stars"

Nothing wrong with the store or products. The sales woman (not wanting to mention her name) at the store needs at least basic training on customer service. Rude when requested for a product and at the counter as well. Was busy with personal phone calls in between.

Gordon at the Frankton store was friendly and knowledgeable, he gave us great advice and knew which products we needed. Good value for money too. Highly recommend dealing with the experts rather than the big chain stores.

Limited range. Staff less than enthusiastic.They have a range of standard safety clothing, some at good pricing, but a lot of the stuff I tried seemed to be a bad cut or different size than usual.They are now doing tools also. I'm not sure why, it's a very limited range.
