Oceanside Apartments

This is a great place to have a restful family holiday! The beautiful beach, safe bay for swimming, clear creek and coastline of flat rocks and rock pools full of interesting sea life kept our three young children entertained everyday in all weather conditions. The spacious accommodation also made it a very easy, relaxing and enjoyable time together - we would highly recommend Oceanside apartments for a memorable family holiday!

What a fantastic place to stay on our trip around the cape. Perfect apartment (downstairs) for a family with everything you need including the beach across the road! Amazing setting especially to view the sunset. We will back next time for longer in the future. Great communication from Meagan and helpful neighbours and cleaner!

It is our second time staying in the Seaside Apartment and I have completely fallen in love with this place! The apartment is such a beautiful place to relax with my wee family. The area is isolated and having the beach right there is so refreshing. We went out swimming throughout the day and would take the kids out for hours of entertainment looking through the rock pools which are within walking distance.This is our go to getaway pad to recharge and get out in nature. The apartment makes everything easy and the decor and property makes it very easy to have a stress free and fun family holiday.

This was a last minute idea and thankfully Meagan was super responsive with the back and forth messages to make it work for us. Our first visit to Waihau Bay was unforgettable and won’t be the last for sure. An amazing place to relax and the apartment was the perfect location, right across the road from the beach with great views of the sea from all rooms. Stunning sunsets and some great surf casting added to the perfect two day stay. Thank you for being so accommodating Meagan. We would like to come back one day with the family.

Very tidy and lovely apartment equipped with everything you need. The most comfortable beds and amazing views to wake up to. Right on the beach, perfect location for a lovely family or romantic holiday. Meagan and John are great hosts and available when you need them. We had a great stay!

Loved our break away at Oceanside appartments.John & Meagan are great hosts,very welcoming and accommodating.The apartment was spotless and inviting with linen provided.Is an amazing setting on the Beautiful rugged east coast. Beautiful ocean views,stunning sunsets,lovely long sandy beach for walking (was too cold to swim when we were there), flat rocky headland at low tide for exploring rock pools and a little shallow stream for small children to play in. A lovely friendly community of locals.We are looking forward to returning again .

What an amazing place to stay.Beautiful safe swimming beach just across the road.Incredible views, clean, we'll equipped and very well presented apartment.While we didn't have time to fish off the beach, locals tell us it's a great fishing spot. Certainly the proximity to the nearby boat ramp gives access to numerous productive fishing grounds.An ideal place for couples, friends and families to have a memorable get away!We can't speak highly enough of Oceanside Apartments!We'll be back!

We had an amazing time staying at Oceanside Apartments. The set up is great for a family and having the ability to close the gates made it nice and safe for our kids to play outside. The beach is beautiful and great for swimming and exploring, the best part is it is right on the doorstep. Oceanside has everything you need and Megan is a great host who makes your stay memorable and easy. We had fun exploring the coast, eating at the Waihou Lodge and visiting the famous church. I would highly recommend Oceanside apartments and we could not be happier with our stay.

My Mum and I stayed 2 nights in early January 2019. It is such a spacious clean attractive upstairs apartment ... with lots of windows and large glass doors ... so view and atmosphere is great. This seemed the out-on-it's-own" easily best accommodation of it's kind in this part of the East Coast ... maybe on the whole of the East Coast ... without it being too pricey. The meal we had at the local historic hotel was also genuinely fantastic. We were extremely happy and some of our extended family will likely also stay here in the future. Meagan was very easy to communicate with and was most helpful. Thank you! Ben W"
