Really lovely sitting outside watching the water enjoying a cold beer and a share platter which was a great way to sample many different items off the menu, a really great idea. Staff were really helpful and catered to our every need. The prices were reasonable and what you would expect when out for a meal. We will be back definitely, and i recommend the cornerstone to anyone to try it

We had the special meal at $15, which is a nice size that you can finish, but still an adequate quantity. Cocktails were very good too. The best thing was the 2 cheerful and helpful young barstaff. Top marks guys.

The food was okay and the portion was huge. Staffs are nice. Location perfect.I went there for lunch time and there are not many people so that I could enjoy time here.Unfortunately I could have pork ribs which I wanted..steak was nice okay and chips were great. Dumpling is not that great.I would try other food next time.

Have been a regular here 4 2yrs,however i booked a table 2months ago for myself & my 2 children to watch the state of origin match & was told 20mins into the game we'd have to leave, so left with two very upset kids even though staff knew i had booked for 2 underage kids.they were aware also that the game started @ 10 & iv since researched which says ONLY if underage kids are with their guardian they're allowed

Shared a meal and drinks with friends last night. Beautifully tender pork sandwich and lovely chips. The service by both of the staff working could not be faulted. Congratulations on excellent customer service, food and cocktails.

The cocktails are awesome!Happy hour is good saving $2 per drink.Garlic bread was tasty, lamb shank faultless.Ribs to die for. Melt in your mouth.Perfect.Great night

Tuesday night very quiet ,weather was not the best. Friendly bar staff. Typical pub food. Steaks were nicely done. Large portion of nachos. Calamari nice and tender. Reasonable prices . Meals were enjoyed by all.

The best eatery on the Strand, stayed in Tauranga 2 nights, lunch both days at Cornerstone, can't fault the service, great food and a full selection of ale on tap. Other eateries nearby no very busy, lots of diners at Cornerstone.
