A wonderful collection of scrap vehicles with such a grand entrance. Friends have commented that vehicle parts are found there that will not be found anywhere else in the South Island. This is not really John's business, it is his hobby!

I have taken my different vehicles to John over several years to get repairs and new tyres. During these times I have found him to be very knowledgeable as well as friendly and helpful . I highly recommend him for his skill and expertise and for the excellent service he provides. So you if you are looking for a part for your vehicle you should give him a call as he most likely has it and he can also fit it for you. His knowledge of vehicles is vast. He is also fair in his pricing.

It would have to be the nicest Car Wreckers yard that I have ever been to. John has a great reputation and I observed him to be honest, ethical and very reasonable. You don't meet many people like him that you know you can count on and trust.

I went there to get two dollar coin size rust fixed. Some in the front , the size of index finger. It wasn't even started rusting but WOF inspector somehow thought I should cough up 385 dollars of my hard earned money over a small patch of scratch. John Gibbs is very expensive that's why one star. Better get it done somewhere else next time.
