Sushi Factory Wairau Valley
This sushi use to be my favorite place for sushi but under new management they have totally damage the value of the place. Food is not fresh, rice felt undercooked and overall presentations let the place down. Won’t be recommending this anymore. The sushi does not taste the same anymore and the service is terrible.

This restaurant has delicious food and Sushi seafood are very fresh, I use to work nearby and ordered lunch box quite often, staff always friendly. Love it, will promote this place to my friends as well.

Sushi and nigiri are poorly made and cuts were very thin uneven and unprofessional. Definitely not worth the price

Sushi was dry , Ava ado was black spots , and founds multiple hairs in my sushi not the best place to eat !!!

Myself and my workmates all think very highly of this little gem. The staff are friendly, the sushi servings are larger (not bite size), we happen to like them this way. We have been having awesome lunches with loads of variety from this little shop. Highly recommend and look forward to a dine-in experience at this restaurant. Big thumbs up from us. Thank you

Food was terrible, the salmon don I ordered was probably the worst I have ever eaten in my life. Salmon tasted old, the dish was drowning in teriyaki sauce to mask the taste of old salmon. There was almost no salad, and the dish was 90% rice. Not worth the money spent at all.

First time tried this place and will never again will, ordered a Box 1 chicken teriyaki, was hardly any chicken mostly soggy rice, everything tasted over poweringly sweet. 1 x piece of salmon shushi, mostly cabbage Salad...yea fair to say was not impressed at all especially since they charge a premium price of $21!!!

We had an evening farewell party on Wednesday 30 November 2022. We had never previously bought anything from the Sushi Factory but thought of giving it a try with a Party Platter B. The ordering was easy and the friendly staff helped us to make another, better choice. Very friendly service and the platter had a beautiful presentation. That evening everybody loved the Sushi, fresh and appetizing! Needless to say, the platter was finished, despite there being many other finger foods available. Our first-buy" risk with Sushi Factory was a great success. We will buy there again - and highly recommend their sushi platters."
