My doctor sent through a referral for a repeat ultrasound to check on a gallbladder polyp (this is health pathways protocol) the hospital sent a letter confirming my appointment, I had to take the afternoon off work to go to this appointment just for the doctor to tell me they weren't going to do an ultrasound? huge waste of time overall, made no sense to come in only to be told I wasn't having an ultrasound done, they could've told me that over a phone call or even email. The same doctor also made a snide comment about me smoking which had absolutely nothing to do with the gallbladder polyp, she wasn't exactly in the best shape herself to say the least so maybe she shouldn't be giving advice about unhealthy habits.

The cafe food is the most of putting when it comes to your table looking like slop and its uneatable. I thought hospital cafe food was meant to be healthy and eatable. Dont order cheese rolls that are heated in a microwave.

Modern hospital building, with excellent facilities. There is an onsite cafe with delicious coffee, and each floor has a television in multiple waiting areas to curb the boredom of waiting. Beautiful views out the windows of Hagley Park and the trees of Christchurch City, as well as the old Gothic structure of the Art Centre. Coffee available on level 2 for patients to make as you come out of the elevator straight ahead. Had phlebotomy services on the ground floor.

Need to urgently see someone and was hung up on mid conversation. I suffer from SLE and need to be taken seriously that's the point of having a specialist. We are not numbers, we are people. Try and be more understanding and caring.

Reasonably accessible, no steps, some wheelchairs provided by the entrance for those who need them. The on site café is good, clean, food and beverages excellent and the staff are pleasant and do an excellent job.

Wow!! You have to buy water at a public hospital!! I went there for my appointment asked for some water the staff advised me to buy water . They don’t have any drinking water facilities. Strange!!
