Hot Sauce Wellington
Unfortunately not a good visit, we were looking forward to it.1. The salad was inedible, the cos lettuce was brownish and it took 40 minutes to come out. Tasted like the Asian mix salad bag from Countdown.2. The staff advised that they can't charge per item on the tab, so we had to all split the bill which came to way more for people who didn't get drinks or extra food. The sever said if he had time he'd split the bill for us?3. The prices on the menu didn't match what was stated on the receipt.4. They posted on instagram a week or so ago of new cocktails, yet they said they weren't doing them anymore.5. Service was poor overall.The one star is only for the decor and vibe.

I have written this review after my third night in a row experience of eating at hot sauce. Reasons -work/tired/proximity to bed.Flash backs to the early 2000's due to the loud club music.I recommend dining here if you're on a date and wanting shmoozimg time it'd be perfect. If you're hungry, not so much.With the restaurant approximately one third full, our food took 35 minutes to arrive.If you want your pop corn chicken hot go to KFC, all our food was cold, which was correct for the salad but underwhelming for the rest of the food.The music seemed to get louder as the wait times extended. The food is amazing, really delicious.One final warning, beware of the Dyson in the disabled loos...

The restaurant is beautiful and as we were staying at QT and it's part of the complex, we assumed it would be good.Sadly it was disappointing and we went away hungry and feeling like we got ripped off.After having reserved a table for two we were placed on high tables by the bar, despite how empty the place was. After moving it took 20 mins sitting at our table before our drinks orders were taken and then after another 15 mins we had to ask pointedly for the water requested on arrival.The chefs choice was overpriced when ordering off the menu would've cost less and provided now food.There was only one small meat dish, if the lack of meat had been clear we wouldn't have bothered with it.The service was slow and at the end of our meal the manager in charge offered us a free drink to apologise for the wait.After waiting another 20 minutes we had decided to just leave when our drinks were delivered, and they weren't correct.Pretty disappointing food, service and general experience to be honest. Next time will stick to Hippopotamus.

The splat of mayo looks like a condom.Beautiful plating of the $24 sashimi. Enjoyed the extremely salty 'jelly noodle beef' which was just a depressed japchae. The popcorn chicken was crisped to soggy, sugary perfection. The garden salad was just romaine with supermarket sushi seaweed on top. Lovely!We went on a first table...but I wouldn't go back, even if it was half off!

Strange that a restaurant called hot sauce had no sauce on some meals. And our meals needed sauce.Plus We found they had a very limited menu to choose from.On the plus side some dishes were flavourful. We have had two meals here but unlikely to make it three.

Nice food and good service. I was a little disappointed when I asked the waiter if the Chef’s Choice was different from the listed meals and was told yes, but they weren’t. We ended up eating and consequently paying more than we would have. The Kung Pu Cauliflower was lovely and the lamb redang was delicious.

Awesome atmosphere.Was recommended to try this place and so pleased we did.Staff were excellent. Lots of options for seating. Food was delicious, made for sharing. Great selection of drinks.Also had an outdoor area which I imagine would be a great spot in the Summertime.Would definitely go back again.
