Average. Certainly not NZ’s best as they ‘claim’ (mind you, every chippy claims to be the best). Waited close to an hour and a half for our food. Way too salty. And the smallest portion of chips I’ve ever come across, despite ordering 2 scoops (maybe they messed up and only gave us 1, though first time ordering so couldn’t compare). Really friendly service though.

It's ok, we weren't wowed by the burgers but that could be our tastes.The squid ($8) is good value for money as it was nice.

Generous portion sizes, the freshest of fish perfectly cooked, and friendly owners. My partner also got a cheeseburger which he said is the best he’s had in a long time, nothing over the top just your classic kiwi staple takeout. Will be making this a must-have every time we come to stay

We went there but had to wait for 45 minutes since only one person was working. She was taking orders and cooking to satisfy their customers. This may be the day they were short of staff.

Really good fush n chups and top service. Was feeding 17 and they stayed open for us and gave us a huge feed, snapper was so good. Chips were best had in a long long time!
