Minogue Park Fenced Dog Exercise Area
TOO SMALL. this would perfect for little dogs. Also very muddy due to traffic. Top by tables needs to be gravelled or crushed shell. We need another one for the big dogs. Check out South Island ones, Kaiapoi (excellent) and Rangiora. They even have two pavillions in case of downpours! Free bags in holders at both parks, several seats, lots of bins!

A brilliant little park. Fully fenced in, tap water and benches for owners to sit. An extremely social and entertaining trip whenever we go.

Nice little dog park. Gates are all wonky and the first time we went we thought it was closed off but found out later you have to remove the chain on the fence. They never have any dog poo bags when we go so make sure to bring your own always.

Disappointed in the size of the enclosure, given the size of the park.Still, great to have a place where you can let your dog off-lead and just be a dog with other dogs.

Good large park in a convinient location. Well used but grass is worn and its getting muddy in locations. Definitely needs a bit more maintenance than HCC is currently putting into it.

Minogue Park Fenced Dog Exercise Area
The enclosure is disappointingly small given the size of the park. And because I have encountered a number of aggressive dogs in the enclosure, I am nervous about taking my dog there now-days. However, the park itself is a wonderful space to walk the dog and I would highly recommend as an alternative.

Good area fenced in wider park. Water and rubbish, easy parking. A few visits have mostly had at least a few digs present. Sunday visit was busier but all dogs and owners well behaved.
