I went in to Clementine to get my hair coloured I showed her a photo of what I wanted and what I got was not even close to it, she told me to wear it for a week and see how I feel about it after that I still didn’t like it so I messaged her to tell her I didn’t like it and she let me come back so that she could fix it and she dyed it again and me not knowing anything about hair colouring, dying it literally a week later damaged my hair, my hair is now so thin and tangles easily when wet it doesn’t feel the same I’m now on a journey to getting my hair back to healthy again. This woman did not care at all about the the damage she was doing also the cut was terrible I wanted a trim and she just chopped it off

Super happy with my foils, colour and cut from Leah.I had very grey roots, build up of colour from home dye jobs.Leah blended everything in and worked her magic with the colour banding. Very classy. Thank you!Thoroughly recommend.

Spent $400 to get copper balayage (was told that copper is an expensive colour) and I walked out of the salon with caramel blonde hair (+ the odd slight copper streak). Based on my experience, it seemed as though the hairdresser was unsure and didn’t want the backlash if the colour didn’t match my face, so she was reluctant to give me much colour at all. Instead, she advised me to “come back for a touch up if it doesn’t turn out copper enough”. I had been set on this colour for months and when I walked in, I was made to feel like it wasn’t for me and succumbed to her suggestions that I “ease into it.” It’s just infuriating because that’s up to me. Like I don’t spend hundreds on colour to walk out the same, only to come back a few weeks later because I didn’t get it the first time?!?! Third time I’ve been here, all different hairdressers. You don’t look bad, but for the price you pay, you don’t get what you want either.

Clementine has been doing my hair for a number of years, after moving to Rotorua I struggled to get the blonde I preferred, I’m so appreciative of Clem, she genuinely cares. She does a great job and I find all the staff lovely and friendly, thanks so much for providing great customer care.

Very disappointed customer, I went for a hair cut for my 6 year old daughter, who had beautiful long hair. The hair dresser just chopped them off, without giving them any shape or even nice trim. The hair are not even straight from where she cut it. There are hair sticking out like a cut done by a child. Very disappointed as it was my daughter’s first haircut and we were expecting it to be a nice experience for her. Don’t recommend and never returning back either.

After bleaching my hair I went to get it dyed back to my natural mousy brown. However it was dyed way too dark so that it ended up black. The staff were lovely enough to offer me a free deep cleansing wash to lift some of the colour, however my hair colour was completely striped at the roots leaving me with patchy orange hair at the top, and an overall uneven dark hair colour. My stylist didn't acknowledge this, and unfortunately I had to be somewhere so I had no choice but to leave with my hair left like that.

Paid $300 for a kerasilk treatment just for my hair to return back to its curly state after washing it out (after the required 3 days). The first time I had this treatment was with the manager of this store and it worked tremendously. My hair stayed straight for 4+ months. Second time round was with Paige. The keratin was not applied or straightened into the hair well enough. Lack of experience / patience was evident. My hair literally stayed the same as it was walking it. Save your pennies and go elsewhere for any keratin treatment.

Clementine is an absolute boss when when it comes to hair! She never fails to give me exactly what I want! I've been going to Clementine for years and have loved every single service I've had with her!
