The Rub

We accidentally stepped upto the place and glad we found them at the heart of Wellington. The place and the interior itself gave us a strong impression. Have to book appointments in advance. Prices are comparatively affordable and worth the single penny. The have different combos for different prices. The entire place is very tidy and neat. Once you entered, you feel so calm and relaxed. Their service is excellent and even we can obtain membership for free of charge. So you can get a discount next time.Yuki did a great job. I was suffering from a shoulder neck pain for so long and it relieved now and I had a good sleep. She is vey knowledgable and experienced in what she is doing. Finally, we got the membership as well.

I had a whole body with oil massage was easy to book and very comfortable surrounds. The massage overall was one of the best whole body experiences and the therapist well trained and experienced. Have re-booked and recommended The Rub to others.

Yuki gave a great massage after 24 hours of flying to Wellington from London. She seemed to locate the areas that were tight without me having to point them out, which was great. She wasn’t in a rush like some massage therapists are- kept going over the tight areas with firm pressure.Highly recommendThank you!

Consistently good, and often very flexible with times. Everyone seems to have consistent training as well as all the massages are of the same quality. The therapists always check in to see how the pressure is. Nice quiet environment too.

Hubby had an hour full body massage" but they didn't massage his front thighs and legs and feet. They should call it "half body massage" and NOT full body. Very misleading and disappointing. Owner should check the fair trading act."

I've been to the Rub twice - I've had two great massage experiences here - the first was a gifted whole body oil massage and the second a walk-in (texted in advance) oil shoulder, neck and head massage. The masseuse was professional and friendly and applied great pressure. Looks clean and they were taking covid precautions. The only thing is they try to get joints to do a little click while massaging but I'm used to it now. I left feeling relaxed and pampered.

Paid for full body $120. It was painful. I had to ask her to ease up a few times and kept rubbing the muscle over the bone which was pretty sore. Had to ask her to massage my head twice. Didn't do feet and only the back of my body. Rough and overpriced.

good massage, but pricey at $65 for half an hour and with her stopwatch running she did not go 1 minute over!no toilets on site so dont do what i did and hav to go half way thru thru a 90min massage and end up running having to ask majestic centre security for a swipe carda somewhat de peraonalized experience
