Ordered a baby shark fondant topper pack Nov 9 and emailed to ask if I could get it delivered (I could pick it up but they made it seem like no problem) They were quick to reply asking me to deposit money into their account which I did straight away. I sent them my address and then never received any reply after that. I never received the package or a reply to my many messages asking about my order. I still get promotional emails but I’ve never received any communication from them. Wouldn’t recommend them at all.

I recently had the misfortune of dealing with The Cake Mixer, and I must say it was one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences I've ever had. Not only did the owner demonstrate a complete lack of professionalism, but her denial of our payment and the absurd claims about our nonexistent communication left me astounded.Avoid like the plague.(UPDATE TO YOUR RESPONSE) I'm absolutely sure that I've got the correct business. It's absolutely astounding how you treat your customers. Have you noticed every negative google review you have gotten you seem to push it on to your customer rather than taking some fault. You seem like a owner that's in denial.

Extremely happy with the Black & Gold Celebration Cake we chose for a 50th Birthday party at The Chateau. We received very helpful advice re the selected design and flavour (we wanted Butterscotch) - it looked and tasted divine, and very much complimented on by the guests. We were a bit worried about the transportation to the venue and storage so were given full instructions which proved invaluable. Cutting instructions were also given, no mishaps whatsoever! Our only concern was: everyone's tongue turned black from the icing!! Thank you Cake Mixer - fantastic.

Placed an order late Monday night after being assured it would be sent the next day, is now Saturday, have not received any shipping details, no one wants to reply to emails, Facebook messages or live chat. After reading reviews seems to be a common occurrence.

Placed an order on the 27th March for cake craft light blue fondant, have sent 3 emails and 2 phone calls I haven't received my order or refund. Wouldn't recommend buying from the online store for cake and decorating supply's.

In October 2022, we ordered a two tier wedding cake with simple rose decorations made of two different cake types. Mel, was welcoming and went the extra mile. The cake was superb and at a very competitive price. Strongly recommend The Cake Mixer!

I found The Cake Mixer via google and went to the shop to arrange a 50th cake for my sister. I gave a very vague description of what I wanted (as not at all arty) and the cake designed was out of this world. It blew me away and exceeded all expectations. This was back in May. Based on this experience, I used the Cake Mixer recently to order Christmas themed cup cakes for our work Christmas Party..... again, I was bowled over and all expectations were exceeded. I totally recomend these guys, as the artistic detail is amazing and the cake is extremely tasty too :)

Wow to say we were happy is the biggest understatement. The cake we got was beyond anything we had expected. It look absolutely amazing and so realistic. It tasted fantastic as well. I will definitely be back again
