If your looking for a classic kiwi fish and chips then this is the place to be! My personal favourite has to be the crumbed fish it was recommended by the staff to me and it was so light and crunchy everything you want in a crumbed fish. definitely going back to try other items on the menu.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND PLEASE READ THE REVIEW. So.. I phone ordered 2 scoops of chips, they said $6... I've been there over 12 times in the past 2 months and I was there 2 days ago, (don't judge, I love my hot chips), so I know 100% it's $6. All good. Got there and told $6, which I happily paid with a $10 note as per normal. As per normal, I counted the change they gave me as I put it in my wallet but to my surprise, this time it was not correct.. hmmmm (lucky I checked). So I asked them how much my order was and they said $6.50!!! ALARM BELLS. So the actual price is $4 per scoop. Half of $4 is $2. Together makes $6 for 1½ scoops. Remember, I go there alot and this is the actual price every time lately. Price on board had not changed either as I checked. NOW COMES THE EXCUSE PART. They came back with some b.s excuse that the minimum order for chips is $3..HUH.. Anyway, I said I've ordered 1½ scoops, that would mean it's more than the $3 minimum so why the extra charge. They changed their excuse and said it's $3 minimum for part scoop..LIES, LIES, LIES.. Now I know 100% that is wrong. Besides, going off their so called minimum part scoop price, 1 scoop would be $4 and the ½ scoop would be $3. So, $4 + $3 = $7...but they charged me $6.50..OMG, someone needs to work on their b.s talk or go back to school and learn some basic math. I explained the sums for them but was met with a blank expression or as I call it, the YOU GOT CAUGHT NOW YOUR MAD" expression. So I told them I'm a regular of over 10 years and I was there 2 DAYS AGO for the exact same order and I paid the true cost of $6. They did not have an excuse this time and they were very quick to get the rest of my change once I mentioned that.. So after a the lies they told

My partner loves fish & chips and lately all our usual places has been below par. Tried this place and it was delicious. Got fish, hotdog, spring roll, chips and egg burger. Not greasy, good sized fish. Light crispy batter. Will be our new go to fish and chip place and we traveled from Upper Hutt.

Great Nasi Goreng had tonight, clean restaurant, and service was great. The fish fillet was nice and large too.

Once evry 3wkz if lucky we treat ourselves 4 fish 2scopes of chipz wit chickn salt..all underdone alwayz..luv wen fish jst falls apart wen cut in2 it n awsum chipz..evryfink perfectly cookd ther 4 us..nice ppl also

Not somewhere I would recommend nor order from again. The staff & speed of service were good, but that's as far as any positives go. The Won Tons were very greasy & lacking in flavor. The Orange Beef was both dry (half of the dish) & overly greasy (the other half of the dish), though to be fair, the little amount of sauce that accompanied it was admittedly flavorsome. The Combination Fried Rice was ok, but very average.

Very disappointed, had visitors from Australia, meat was tough, ended up throwing the lot out, only nice thing we could eat was the chips.won’t be back!

We bought fried rice and 2 dishes. Normally this would last us 2 meals, but the servings are huge. Very tasty.

Although the meals have got a little smaller and cost a bit more its still our favorite shop for Chinese
