We had a great coffee from the “Grind to a halt” coffee Kenworth. Friendly service. Took it across the road to the beach. Bliss.

Lovely view!!!!!! Older shop keeper needs to learn some manners and do a job properly not half arsed. Younger shop assistant please keep you mask on at all times!!! And both of you wash your hands!!!! Please get some training on coffee making also....... Well just continue through next time

Beautiful location by the beach. You can buy general groceries, hot chips, ice etc. You can park by beach and take a swim or just relax. There is a freedom camp ground nearby but don't allow dogs/pets. We use 2degrees sim/mobile and found 100% fast reception. Not sure if there is a public toilet available.

Cute little shop. Fish is delicious, chips and hot dog cooked rite. Cashier suggested to carry on to Opotiki for more variety but we were happy to stay.

Very plesant drive.Afew lookouts on the way up..Hwy 35 shop is good reasonble prices Enjoy the drive around the East Coast
