Stopped in at 3pm asked for coffee to sit there, told we shut at 4pm, we ordered coffee and food and felt the extremely rude person on the till just didn't want customers. Will be the first and last visit for me. Good luck with staff like that.

If you want choice, this is the place. Pies are fabulous, Chelsea buns, donuts and muffins delicious. Some things not so great but overall excellent bakery cafe. Coffee's good too.

Excellent variety of cabinet foods from hot fries & pies, fresh sandwiches, desserts to hot drinks. Quality is great and the parking and layout is very convenient.

Brisket & watercress pie a.k.a (Boil Up Pie!!... Don't steal my name, I made it up!!) Is the go to, although all the other Kai here is just as beautiful!! Sitdown Breakfast is massive & primo, the Takeaways in the afternoon is wicked!! That Wheel wagon burger bruv, if you get a medium chips with that? Honestly enough for 2 people... It's a massive meal!! Love it. The ladies that keep this place running are awesome, always friendly and welcoming. Could talk to them all day but, then your Boil Up Pie might get cold...

Wagon Wheel is by far the best bakery in the area. Pie flavours that extend to such exotics as Brisket & Watercress, donuts as good as anywhere, cakes that get devoured as soon as you're home & a variety of home bake biscuits. I'd like to see more effort put into coffee but this is Morrinsville, I think the owners know their market.

I know this is a popular place and the food is nice and hot but gosh the customer service by three staff is horrible. One senior staff with blonde hair and two gurls with blonde hair. Please fix your attitude. Im a front line worker and coming in with work colleagues and get such attitude is not okay. Customer service must be a priority.

We stopped in at 3pm after being recommended by my partners nan. At 3pm an hour before close there were only a few things left to buy. My partner was served a ROTTEN egg! I work at a cafe so asked my bosses with photos and was informed it was in fact a rotten old egg. My partner felt sick the rest of the day. The customer service was bad and dismissive and I don’t know why they shut the whole place down an hour before closing. I understand wagon wheel has a good rep but we will not be returning.

Food is good staff are all.polote and lovely bar one who is quite rude older gray haired lady with glasses. Her tone and obvious manner is shocking seen it and experinced it a few times. Feel she needs more customer service training

Great portions- the double happy sausage roll was epic! Great muffin selections all huge in size. Slices variable flavours with lots to choose from. Will take a slight detour off SH1 every time we go on a road trip from now on!
