Hired a bike for day here. Very nice and professional staff with good tips on which roads to take best. Bike was in top condition and helmet and lock were included in the price.

I bought a removal tool (the last one they had in stock) in this shop which I wanted to use to take the freewheel cassette off my rear wheel, so that I could replace a broken spoke. The tool didn't fit although it was the correct tool, so I took it back to the shop. The mechanics then used their own removal tool to take the cassette off my wheel.I asked whether they could fit a new spoke for me before putting the cassette back on. For this 3 minute job I was going to be charged $40. After hearing this I cancelled my request and was told that our time is valuable". Well

Great customer service. Friendly staff, very reasonable rental prices. Bikes were in great condition. Should have asked for a gel seat though. All in all we had alot of fun biking along the harbor and in the surrounding parks.

Highly recommend. Woman there was very friendly and helpful when I was looking to hire two non e-bikes. She even went out of her way to find a back pack we could borrow for our drink bottles. Great price, service and bikes. Thanks heaps.

BRILLIANT BIKE BARNWhat a great place to hire bikes in Whakatane.Staff so helpful ,very kind and very trusting.Made enquiry about hiring two bikes and within 20mins we were on our way and cycling for a good two hours.Returned two days later for further hiring and had the same experience.Thanks to all the staff there -super customer service.We would recommend this place anyone looking to hire bikes as part of their stay in this great town.A & S Mason -WALES
