Great music store. Very helpful. Great selection of guitars at many price points. Stock Crafter and Tanglewood that are not common. Also Alvarez and Sigma and Martin.

If u r after musical instruments, this is an option to consider. Obviously parking is an issue. U would have to walk parking ur vehicle somewhere. Has a whole lot of guitars, pianos, drums, keyboards etc and then microphones, stands for microphones , notes etc. If u dnt want to pay at once , that is all good. They accept Zip.

4 people in the store, I walked in without a mask (I have an exemption). Laura stopped her interaction with a customer and shouted at me to put a mask on. She was arrogance and condescending and I was just about to leave when Josh came in and helped me as best as he could. They did not have the guitar string in stock, so I had to buy the whole pack. I will never shop here again.

New item bought online 2 days ago. Best price in NZ (even bet the global store guys !) and one of the fastest deliveries ive ever had from any retailer !! Fantastic service.....ill certainly be buying more form Music Planet. :)

Highly recommended music store with a great selection of guitars. Down in NZ for a month in July 2022 and I needed a nice 3/4 guitar to practice with so bought a very sweet Alvarez from the folks here. A week later the neck cracked. I brought it in and showed the team at Music Planet what happened and no questions - just a quick 'We will replace, no charge'. Awesome customer service and will definitely visit them on my next trip to Christchurch.
