Nail Studio

Just wanted basic acrylic tips. Ended up paying $90 not sure why always feel like I get fleeced at these Asian salons they always suggest the expensive service would be best. Then when I ask for what I want they're like oh no can't do that

Just recently got a manicure done here and can say it was such a good experience! I had gotten it done by Jennifer and her service was amazing. She made me feel so comfortable, she was easy to talk to and she made sure I was happy with the results. Will definitely be coming back here!

Did SNS with these guys. Not tidy, good quality workmanship. Left residue of powder under fingernails, clumpy lumpy powder on nailbed and very very thick layer. Not well trained staff. Also not the best customer service experience.Sorry won't be coming back here.

I got acrylic nails, and they made all the nails different sizes. I’m currently a week into having these acrylics and two have fallen off. The paint has chipped off. Overall bad experience. They cut into my cuticles, and was a bad customer experience. Really wished I looked at the reviews first before going in.

My nails are destroyed from getting a gel manicure here. It really feels like a chop shop for nails and this resulting in them cutting my cuticle, causing my nail to bleed and using a very aggressive sander to take the polish off when it started to chip one week later (which at one point gave me an electric jolt). I would strongly discourage anyone from using this place, it will take months for my nails to recover.

I got acrylic nails done here and the application and all that was ok. They looked fine although there was a bit of colour on the skin around my nails. Went to get them removed later and they literally just ripped them off with a spare acrylic nail! I was so shocked, I could have done that at home but came to get them removed safely. But yeah, unfortunately my nails are now rather thin and weak and I wouldnt recommend coming here.

Just had my nails done and my experience was beyond terrible! I had asked for a full set of acrylic with a french tip… to that they slapped on a white under tip 2x bigger than my actual nail and some clear acrylic on top and called it a day. Not the mention my bleeding cuticles. I would never recommend this salon to anyone!!

Not one to write reviews but my experience here will be the first and last. I usually get my nails done every 3 weeks however have never come across a place like this. I can say that it was the worst nail experience, starting from the customer service to the end outcome, it has left me speechless and so upset. When I was upset during the service and told them, nothing was done, no questions asked etc. So, I sat and asked to get the plastic extensions that had just been put on and cut to be removed. And asked to just get a gel polish and the difference refunded. Then was told that there are no refunds. So I said, well I will get my nails done, I just want the difference back. Did not make sense at all. They told me I would have to write down my details and it would be sent to my account as there was no manager. Anyways, got my gel polish that I paid $35 for including the 'removal' charge and walked away with nothing, they could not provide a receipt or anything. Overall, the whole experience was disgusting! Please do not waste your money and time! - Photos to show - there was even a line on my left thumb that the nail technician laughed at. LOL

Hi Everyone, so i've been following Ivy around she did my nails years ago at Luxury Nails New Lynn then she's worked at Professional Nails St Lukes and now Nail Studio St Lukes. I've been coming to Nail Studio St Lukes for at least the past 10months + now & I've never had a problem Ivy does such a perfect brilliant meticulous job on my nails that they last 3-4 weeks even longer but by then I'm tired of the color! Not sure where everyone else has been going because i've seen the same customers return again & again. Ivy is fantastic she does a really great job. A big shout out too Ivy and if you want great nails too then ask for Ivy and the team.
