Credit Simple

I don't find Credit Simple accurate at all. My credit score was going up steadily for the past few months, then all of a sudden it drops 5 points last month. Nothing on my credit record reflects this dip, I haven't applied for any sort of credit or service since Dec 2021, and all my bills are $100+ in credit and always have been since day 1. There was absolutely no reason for the drop

In May 2021 I contacted Credit Simple to give them my updated address. The old address was five years out of date. I provided multiple pieces of evidence of my updated address including letters from my bank, a letter from Immigration NZ and details from the electoral role. To my absolute astonishment, this was their response. SummaryYour enquiry about this entry was submitted on 17/05/2021The review of your enquiry was finalised by the illion team on 03/06/2021ConclusionThe illion team has reviewed your enquiry and has concluded the entry will remain unchanged.".......in other words

It was good until recently. Things have come up on my credit that i have no idea about or where they came from, they have been investigating" this for over 30 days. My credit score dropped from 800 to 500

Great, free way to keep track of credit score. Lots of negative reviews of people who don't agree with the system of scoring without considering Credit Simple are the messenger not the judge.

Useless service. Sent few queries via emails but for no avail. My credit score keep dropping for no reason. Information is not accurate. My credit score was above 800. Planning to buy our first home but this company is giving headaches with wrong stats. Wish I could give them 0 rating.

False data, took them 1 year to remove an incorrect credit card under my account. Requested an investigation and they it said they checked with the bank that was still active. They mucked up someone with my first name and same date of birth, didn't bother checking the rest of the details. Called the bank to verify, illion working with credit simple never contacted the bank, lairs, I have no credit card since 2014 and they still kept on forcing one under my account. The worst ever company,providing false data.

I have a credit score over 740. One day I couldn't log on due to their flawed log-in system. My account was hacked on their system and a duplicate account was created. They ended up locking my account due to a security breach in their system

I give Credit Simple a 3 because they have an instant on line service which is great.However many lenders do not use them therefore their credit reporting is often not considered accurate or a true reflection of an accurate credit rating.If you obtained a credit report from both Centrix or Equifax you are likely to find that your credit score may be much lower than it is with Illion (Credit Simple)

Inaccurate reporting provided by Illion. I have never been in default with Vodafone, lodged an investigation and it took them almost a year to get back to me, with Illion saying they have contacted Vodafone and the info is correct (on their customer service line?? Eh, what. Privacy wise they wouldn't be able to get any info calling customer services anyway, if they were a reputable credit company surely they would have a more direct line than that and talk to the account person who handle these cases??).After a lengthy conversation with a cust service rep at Vodafone today, lo and behold, they confirmed as well that my account has always been paid on time and I never received a late fee. In all the time I have been a customer at Vodafone I have also only had one account number. Personally I will be going to the privacy commissioner in relation to this case and would recommend others complain too based on the reviews on here. Unprofessional, luckily most companies use Citrix or Equifax to do their credit checks so I hope this won't affect me in the future.

The Epitome of hopeless. Score has almost 1/2ed. Have deleted all credit cards, plus no defaults IE HP. Other sources more reputable. Shame had to score this outfit 1 star
