So much potential here, such a fabulous location. We waited nearly an hour for our food (there were only about 5 tables of people!)nothing from the staff, asked where it was and then the staff turned up with it immediately.Cold eggs and missing bacon. Staff explanation was “the chef just kinda froze plus they had a big night last night, in fact I’m not even all here today” (!!?) coffee order was wrong- soy in the wrong drink. A total disaster from start to finish and no apologies. Pretty hopeless all round. Avoid.

Went in for Valentine’s Day and it was just the perfect night! All the food was amazing, and the dessert at the end really topped it off. Service was great, and was impressed on how quickly everything was served. Couldn’t fault anything. Was our first time visiting and they definitely left a good impression. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

Me and my daughter had lunch there on King's Birthday weekend Monday.She had Scrambled eggs and I had bacon bene. Both meals were warm and not hot.After arriving home we both became unwell.We have been there before with no problem.

Excellent experienceHad the big breakfast for lunch and it was very enjoyable, the poached eggs were done just right,the toast was just soft enough to make eating the eggs easy.The staff are very friendly and helpful.I highly recommend a visit.PS: the view of the river is not bad either.

Terrible place, the single star is for the location.By far the worst food I have tried from a pub, how hard can it be? Very inexperienced chefs is my guess as the poached eggs were incredibly undercooked, as you can see in the photos they have turned to water, dribbling a white fluid all over my meal. Its an egg, how can you not cook and egg?Frozen bagged hashbrowns that are watery on the inside. Sausages that have one flavor that lingers in your mouth after you're finished. Salt.This place is only catering to a crowd that has no taste buds. The elderly. Over priced food that I had to force myself to eat, inattentive staff and inexperienced chefs. A recipe for disaster.Go anywhere in Kaiapoi but here, don't let the location and interior/exterior fool you.
