Stayed 3 nights in January 23.The owners are awesome and I cannot thank them enough. They went above and beyond what they had to do. We made an error on our booking and showed up a day later bit they honoured our 3 nights anyway.Charming local run Motel with microwave, hob, and all kitchen utensils. Large rooms and a quiet surroundings. Not the cheapest but worth every dollar.

We found Kauri Park Hotel in the middle of a storm with unpassable roads further north. The staff were amazing and put us in what has to be one of the most comfortable rooms I've stayed in. The beds were comfortable, the room well insulated and warm, and such private little outside nooks. It was lovely and after an awful day on the road, a welcome break.Thanks so much.

Brilliant service, location and care (high quality, clean and perfect location for Bay of Islands. Really magic — a beautifully manicured garden full of hidden corners and birdsong!!!! Berry places, fruit and vegetable farms, cafes (coffee, breky, deli and more) and fabulous Thai House massage 1 min walk. Lovely pool and Jacque could not do more to make you welcome. Thank you!!!!

We enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were so friendly and helpful and the room servicing staff were amazing too. They tucked my kids teddies into the beds when they made up the room which made my kids smile. Internet was a little patchy and wireless coverage could be improved, but everything else including the swimming pool and spa bathes were fantastic. It's right opposite the old packhouse market which should not be missed and walking distance to the best Chocolate place in NZ. The grounds are lovely and would be amazing over summer. We would likely return.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three weeks+ at Kauri Park while visiting our son and his family who live nearby. The pool was definitely a hit with our grandkids,(and us.)Everything about our stay was wonderful. Our hosts quickly felt like old friends and truly made this our home away from home.We are already planning next year's visit.*New rating system.....6 STARS!!!

Absolutely amazing staff to deal with! We will definitely be back and staying with them again. Unfortunately a series of events occurred in which I had made a mistake and Kauri Parks staff were more than accommodating going above and beyond to ensure my staff members had somewhere to stay. Beautiful place with even more lovely hosts who go above and beyond accommodating you and your needs . Honestly we felt so welcomed and so looked after! Room was gorgeous with everything you need to make you comfy including a comfortable bed. It was clean too which is a must for me! Beautiful grounds with a sense of peace, just what you need to wind down from a hectic year. We highly recommend this property for its facilities and staff. Our hosts were amazing , it was like staying with friends. Thank you so very much for your amazing hospitality and service during our visit , we miss you already !!!

Love staying here, the beds are so damn comfortable, the place is so quiet, and you get your own special space to just relax.Great rates and very friendly owners, the complimentary wine on arrival is a great touch.
