The company came with a recommendation from a friend and we must agree: we recommend. We are very pleased with the transformation DGU has achieved with their installation of double-glazed windows. As we live in a period house we chose to keep the old rimu/cedar frames and opt for the DGU router process; we didn't want any aluminium. The whole house job was completed in about three weeks, covering all windows and outside doors. The team is very professional and pleasant to have around the place. Hard-working team that arrive with the right equipment, preparation and approach. Very well done, DGU Team! Great organisation of the process as well as the day-to-day management. Love the quality of the double glaze which has resulted in a pleasing look whilst keeping my home warm and heating costs down. The windows were hung to push out from the bottom. The ventilation in hot weather is much improved, the rooms are cooler. And the rain doesn’t get in. Very happy.The installers were very cheerful guys, professional and easy to have in the house.

Absolutely recommend without hesitation. Such a wonderful team to deal with from start to finish, and the guys doing the installation were quick, tidy, respectful and professional.Their attention to detail and high standards deserve recognition too... They spotted a slight imperfection on one window, that I would never have noticed, and were quick to rectify without hassle.

It was such a pleasure working with this team and the quality of the work is exceptional! We are a bit fussy with details and every aspect of their work was excellent. We are especially pleased with the led light restoration and the way decorative features like the colonial bars could be kept while making a 1940’s bungalow cozy. An extra shout out for Ben who led the work on site and his attention to detail fitting the windows so well. Had 4 bedrooms double glazing installed with these guys. I was super happy that they took on the job at first place when it seemed like a super busy time of the year. It took about 3 months but well worth the wait. The job itself was done perfectly and my place was left clean and tidy afterwards. The rooms are 4 degree warmer than the rest of the house which is amazing! Nadia and Tami at reception are super friendly and professional to deal with. I would use them again for the rest of the house when I save enough! Highly recommend!
