Had the BEST fish and chips today! Highly recommend! The staff were friendly and didn’t have to wait long, even on a public holiday! We’ll be back!

Originally came for hoki and after seeing the price for one piece, I assumed they were fresh. However they are frozen, so we opted for burgers. The burgers and chips were nice and there were a ton of patrons waiting for orders. I thought the pricing was definitely on the steep side.

Really great meal. 4 of us had a meal which they delivered to the pub next door. The best grilled and battered snapper, calamari rings, chips and salads. Fresh and nicely presented. Great friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Thanks for 4 delicious meals. Vicki

Great fish and Chips. Friendly staff.Chips are classic Mr Chips and taste great.Fish was very fresh with a nice crispy batter.Even better that you can eat it in the pub next door.

The best fish and chips we’ve had for a long time. The fish was delicious and fresh, the chips were perfect, and the pineapple fritters and donuts were yum! Super friendly people and quick service too! Will definitely be back here when we return to Mangonui. Cheers guys!

The best fish n chips in the Far North, service brilliant, cost amazing and they even brought it into the tavern for us next door. The best birthday feed ever. Would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Doubtless bay

Really nice fresh and crispy chips, being from the UK we are super fussy about chips, but these were the best we have had in NZ yet. Potato fritters (or scallops as we call them) had very crispy and light batter. All a fair price for size and not at all greasy!
