Menagerie Boarding Kennels and Cattery
Excellent service. We are from Rotorua and they were the only ones with space leading up to Christmas. Was able to see our dog through their Facebook page. I got to choose our dogs pen and she was well looked after. We will be traveling the 35 minutes in the future from Rotorua for further stays. It was clean and spacious with large exercise yards.

Our baby had the best time! These guys really care so well for all the animals! You can see the love they have for them. We will be bringing our big fur baby back over and over again because although we missed him terribly he was as happy as a clam when we picked him up and has no ptsd from being away from his humans!! The Menagerie near Whakatane is a great boarding kennels/cattery, very clean and tidy with CCTV. However their cancellation policy is rather strict. It must be within 7 days and the penalty can be more than your pet's stay. We were penalised $30 for a $28 cat stay we had to cancel within the 7 day window.

Such a great place for our dog. We do daycare with occasional overnights. Our dog is always happy to be there and the care is fabulous. Even and Dewi are so friendly and welcoming

Menagerie Boarding Kennels and Cattery
My dog has stayed several times at Menagerie previously so when we were moving to Australia, my cats stayed there for 5 weeks while we organised our housing. The facilities are always spotless and well ventilated (important during summer) and the cat play area is perfect. Sven, Dewi and staff are so good with the animals. My cats arrived to us in Australia in great condition and stress-free. I highly recommend Menagerie for any boarding needs.

Menagerie Boarding Kennels and Cattery
We were a little nervous leaving our fur-babies in a kennel. Our fears were put at ease after meeting Sven and Dewi. Their vast knowledge of pet behaviour and needs is only matched by their obvious love for animals. We have no hesitation in recommending Menagerie boarding kennels to any paw-parent looking for a caring environment for their furry family member.

Best pet lodging in Bay of Plenty. The amount of care given to the animals is evident by the way my dog races out of the car like it's his second home. Sven is always happy to give tours of the well maintained facility. They will go the extra mile and give the dogs sweaters on cooler nights. I can't speak highly enough of this place.
