Hutt River Trail (Taita)
If you wish to get away from the madding crowd this is it, you will hardly see more than a handful of bikers, joggers or dog walkers compared to other more popular stretches of the Hutt River. Not as pretty as some other parts but part of the HR Trail and accessible by car also for part of the way. Access is opposite the Farmers Crescent housing complex zone.

A bit bumpey in some areas for riders of scooters and electric unicycles. But a pleasant ride over all.

Hutt River Trail (Taita)
Excellent track for walking and cycling. We often do the path between Hutt Valley Highschool and the Pomare Rail Bridge. Most of this section is tar-sealed now so it's great for children or new riders and also pram-friendly.

Nice place to fly a drone when it's not to windy lots of different places to photo or fly through within a couple hundred meters

Hutt River Trail (Taita)
It runs alongside the Hutt River all the way from Upperhutt to Petone. A great recreational cycle and walking track in addition to the old stop bank track. Recommend it.
