Pre-booked a taxi on the night before I needed to go to the airport. The taxi wasn’t there on time. When I rang up after 7 mins of waiting I was told the driver was still on the way from the other side of town and will be another 9 minutes.This is unacceptable for bookings made in advance. I have cancelled and got an uber that was there within 5 minutes. The stress is not worth it, I will not use this company again.

To book a taxis I was actually speaking to a person rather than an automated service which was great. All my bookings were excellent and on time and the drivers were friendly. Totally recommend this company

Ordered a taxi to take to airport at 0345 at 0356 driver contacted to say just got job and 15 mins away. Unable to speak to anyone. Ordered Uber and here in 7 mins. Don’t bother just use Uber more reliable

Booked a taxi the night before for a morning ride to an intercity bus stop. They rang literally at the time they were due to arrive to let me know they were going to be late. Defeated the purpose of booking in advance. The driver initially shortchanged me and argued it with me when I raised it. Uber now also allows you to book in advance, I'll be sticking with them in future.

Again my experience of Gold Band Taxi's has been one of satisfaction. Yet some of their can drivers in my experience, is that they could upkeep their cars better.

OMG. Elderly driver who needs to resit her license. Always on the brake even when approaching green light 35kmph in 50km zone. Frustrating and nervewracking!

Terrible drivers!!!Just witnessed one of you taxi's; tail gating (within 1m of car in front) in heavy southern traffic, changing lanes without indicating and cutting people off (3 times) and swerving all over the lane beyond lines.Is the driver drunk or on drugs!!? (8am)Rego NND57*

your staff over the phone are extremely rude and unhelpful, i book my taxis at the start of the week yet i was 45 minutes late to work and now i’m 30 mins late being picked up from work. it’s not hard to have an automated text saying there is a delay and get better customer service, the ladies have the worst attitude. Absolutely disgusted in the “help” i got from 2 of your staff today both females specially the lady who’s working right now at 4:25pm. Thanks.
