We did a guided Sea Kajaking Tour in Abel Tasman National Park with Transfer to and from Kaiteriteri. Excellent value, we had a fabulous time. Our guide (Laura?) was very knowledgeable and helpful. Take the advice of bringing a spare set of clothing seriously AND store in a dry bag, I had not realised, that I would be soaked :-))

Great scenery. Wilsons 3 day tour was very good with great accom, food and fellow trampers. You need to be reasonably fit to do this walk There are alot of steep sections and some of the tracks are uneven and rutted. Beware of rocks and tree roots as my wife tripped on a root and fractured her patella.Do not do the walk with plantar fasciitis as it takes away alot of the enjoyment of the walk.

We did the half day cruise. Plenty of stops, they even have a menu for food and drinks. The Tasman is beautiful, great way to see it all if you’re short on time. Service was great too. We’ve done better ones etc. but still glad we did this one on our last day.

Great way to see the able Tasman national park - Wilson are very professional and have a great history of connection to the area. With their own boats, lodges, kayaks and amazing guides they make the experience a very enjoyable one. It was great to be walking and kayaking seeing the amazing place and then being able to get a nice hot shower and amazing meal at the lodges at the end of the day.A big shout out to Sam, Lucy and Caleb who took great care of us and really knew this amazing place and were happy to share it and their knowledge with us.It might cost you more than self guided , but it is very worthwhile!

We booked two water taxis: one was from Kaiteriteri to Medlands (9:20-10:20) and the other one was from Anchorage to Kaiteriteri (15:35-16:15). We were supposed to have more than 5 hours to walk from Medlands to Anchorage. However, our boat arrived at Medlands at around 10:50 and then we were told to be at Anchorage before 15:15 due to the low season. That is to say, we only got about 4 hours to finish the hiking (this is a recommended 3hr 50mins track). We ran all the way from Torrent bay to Anchorage without any rest, drinking water or taking photos. The journey became to a marathon eventually. We don’t think there is any need to have a timetable in this case.Btw, Abel Tasman National park is amazing. Really love it!

If you have the time and can walk 42 kms and/or kayak then this is the tour for you. It was well organised and the food included was great. The guides are great and knowledgeable about the local area
