Horizon Radiology - Smales Farm

Went in for a scan today, the sonographer we had was hostile and seemed un impressed because I was not scheduled for a scan earlier...? Wasn’t engaging with me or my partner whatsoever while she was scanning through my belly. Frequent words like “okay” and just “everything looks good” and a lot of silence! Never coming back to horizon Smales Farm. Unlucky! wish we had got someone more friendly and that would actually explain what she was seeing on the screen as we were just staring blatantly. My partner even asked a question and she quickly responded and nothing to follow up after that just more awkward silence. Quite rude from my perspective. Such a shame we were so excited <\3

One star it is too much for this place. It is the worst receiptionist i ever meet. i have take day off from my work and drive 35mins to my appointment. My appointment was canceled because i got 10 mins late.Receiptionist told me, because it is fully booking in the next 2 months, i only can choose reschedule to Henderson branch where one hour driving from my home. Finally, when i have to agree cancel my booking and reschedule, i can saw she is happy enjoy and complacent from her eyes. Very bad experience for this place , hope no happen again.

Pretty disappointed with my experience. Phoned to get an urgent appointment for an ultrasound for my baby as a referral from my doctor, to have the lady on the phone with an attitude saying she cant authorize the ultrasound to be done even though I read out the referral letter to her with all information. She said no that I cant have that certain ultrasound because I am too early, without knowing any information as to why my doctor as requested that urgent ultrasound. I will happily take my money elsewhere and never return to Horizon.

Even one star is too much. I really do not recommend getting an appointment here. 30 minutes before my appointment, they called me and told me straight forward that there is no one that can see me today. I had just got a day off of work for this, and it turned out to be a complete waste of my time. This is complete rubbish costumer service and I have never experienced anything like this my whole life.

After being covered by ACC for an accident I was in, I booked at Smales for the required knee ultrasound. The soonest appointment I could get was in two weeks time. No worries.I got a call asking if I could make a slight adjustment to my appointment as the sonographer was leaving early on the day of my appointment. Again, no worries.Finally the day arrives, I'm over the moon to finally get down to the bottom of the problem with my knee only to get a call saying the sonographer wasn't in and I had to reschedule for 10 days time.So, round 3 for my appointment, I had to call to reschedule due to becoming seriously ill. I called to reschedule, ended up having to leave a message - detailed, asking someone if they could call me back with times for another appointment.That was over a week ago and I still haven't heard a thing. Shocking service, can't say I'd ever recommend this business to anyone. Sadly, as a result, I still have no answers on the injury I received.

Took time off work to take my wife for a scan for our 3rd child. Was running late due to a crash on the motorway. Called to let them know. Arrived at the door 6min late. After parking the car i found my pregnant wife in tears turned away and berated by the receptionist. Apparently their terms are, if you are 5min late they reschedule, however, this was never communicated in any of their correspondence with us. How do customers adhere to your terms and conditions if you dont supply them well in advanced? Receptionist stated that they only allocate 10min for scans? Clearly not our first rodeo and we have never had a scan completed in 10min. Would not recommend to others. Have to book more time off wrok. Thanks Horizon!

Would’ve been 5 if it wasn’t for the RACIST receptionist. The sonogropher Jenny was amazing she was super nice and explained everything and made us feel really comfortable. Totally turned around my experience. But, I’ve been in Auckland for a while now and have never felt so attacked due to my ethnicity. It’s a shame really. Very disappointing that no one from Horizon talks to their employees about treating people this way.

Even one star is too much for this place, I have taken my day off from work, and I thought my appointment would be at imaging radiology which I recommended, after receiving a call from a lady saying my next appointment would be on Milford radiology , same place for my last radiology appointment at 3:00 pm, she promised me to send a text reminder with the details of the address before the booking date, but nothing had happened. Yesterday I went to imaging, Milford at 3, instead, but I found out I need to go to smell horizon radiology instead. I have explained to the receptionist of smell horizon radiology every thing , but she was so rude and didn’t even apologise! Her response was “!you are late 10 minutes and your appointment has been canceled “ . The receptionist knows she not doing her job and continue with that way of rudeness and there are no consequences at all.where is the manager of this place? Is he or she the partner of this rude receptionist, to keep her on that position after all these bad reviews??

Went in for a scan and paid $60 but what we got was the silence from the sonographer throughout the scan. She didn't explain anything to us and only said 'ok', 'looks good so far' and that's all. My partner and I just staring blatantly at the screen wondering how was the baby and I even almost fall asleep laying there throughout the scanning. We had our 12 weeks scanned here before by a trainer who actually explain what she was seeing throughout the scan and we feel so happy with it and that's why we came here again for the 20 weeks scan. But was really disappointed for what we experienced this time. Such a shame we were so excited.

I had appointment on 29 May 2019 and from initial phone call from friendly lady at clinic to set time, followed by email letter confirmation, then the friendly greeting from reception ladies when I arrived some 15 to 20 minutes early. I had only sat down when I was called into Ultra scan room which was done by another friendly, respectful young lady, who explained the procedure clearly.All together a very pleasant experience.My thanks and regards to all.Phillip R Kilroy.
