Everett Park Scenic Reserve
Very scenic location for a picnic or swim. Fun little walk between the two swimming spots. The cave is more of a depression in the rock face (maybe we missed it). The parking area with the toilets needs a bit of maintenance e.g Cut the grass, fix the gravel road because you would struggle to access the river without a vehicle with sufficient clearence. Tho did love the fact you have to drive through thick native forest to access the river! Hopefully DOC sees this review and the forest gets maintained for years to come! Some picnic tables/benches would be a good addition too..

Everett Park Scenic Reserve
First impressions? We entered the reserve via a very narrow road which led to a sandy area at the river. There was no grassed picnic spot, just an overgrown area begging for a mow and picnic table.We then left via the same narrow and winding road, happy not to meet another car on the way.There was another entrance with a very narrow road. This led to area with sign for a walk to the picnic area. This appeared to lead to where we had just come from, so we didn't do the walk.

Everett Park Scenic Reserve
Haven't been here in many years. It was really sad going there with my family and to see the state of it now. It seems to be the only people that goes there are the ones that wreck the area. I hope the grass will get cut and the weeds will get sprayed throughout summertime. I hope more families will take time to enjoy this place this summer. Get the kids away from their technology and bring this place back to life.

Everett Park Scenic Reserve
I grew up visiting this park and it is nice to see it is now being cared for. The walk between the two parks is just lovely, with some real treasures to find. The facilities are basic, but useable. The river is still such a great swimming hole! Well worth the trip out to do the bush walk.
