Though we came across Kowai pet boarding by chance, it was one of our best discoveries for our pets while away. Our furry friends were treated with so much love and company from the updates we received, we just cannot recommend their service enough!

Awesome kennel. We've used this place for our two Labradors a couple of times now; the last time was for a two week stay. We even got a text from our older dog (thanks, Angela) half way through our holiday to tell us what the two dogs were up to and how they were. When we picked the dogs up they were exhausted, from so much playing, etc., and they slept for days! Great to have such a good, high quality, well run facility in the area. Ange really cares for the dogs. Highly recommend.

What a lovely treat to pick up our two dogs today after a long weekend and know they have been well cared for. We have normally used a well known boarding kennels in Christchurch and our dogs would return, stinky and with very raw paws. At Kowai they have come home smelling clean, happy and with no raw paws. I would highly recommend Kowai and I am more than happy to travel out of town to board my dogs there again.

My three year old bullmastiff loved his stay ..didn’t want to leave. You can trust Kowai 100% to love your pet like you do. Totally recommend and I am not easy to please. We will be back….soon

Amazing establishment ,friendly knowledgeable and care for my Louie so well ! went to pick him up today and he didn't want to come home! loves the owner and is fast asleep tuckered out . so so happy I found them .

We use Kowai to care for our small dog Louis. They are skilled caring people who are always pleased to see him. Great facilities too. Highly recommended
