We had a lovely lunch at Wairu River Wines Restaurant. We e-biked it there easily. Gorgeous restaurant with great service from the staff. The food was delicious and showcased local produce. Excellent wines (as expected).

Absolutely delicious! The beef short rib was falling off the bone with a beautiful sauce. The blue cheese souffle - divine.The service was friendly and welcoming. We loved our meal even more because of them.Can't wait to be back!

Amazing food great outside space. Traffic noise outside can be distracting but still a lovely spot.Would be nice to have dairy free options for dessert.

We called in to this winery without a reservation, and was greeted by Helen, what a gem she is. She made us feel so welcome, and made us comfortable before helping us choose wines and food. All the meals being served looked delicious and all patrons were happy. I must say all the staff gave excellent service. Helen gave us information on the winery which was good. This winery is in a beautiful setting, we sat outside under a pergola enjoyed the ambience. We highly recommend this winery.

The food was really delicious. The place itself was not as nice as some of the other vineyards. But the food was worth it.Got the mussell chowder, shrimp and smoked salmon. The shrimp was deepfried and ever so slightly greasy but the salads were all very fresh with enough acidity to cut through it.Highlight was the mussell chowder which had a kick of heat to make it really sing.

As always the most amazing experience! Beautiful setting, wine and scrumptious food. All topped off with great service from Pip & Parky. With a cheeky surprise brownie for a birthday treat I hadn’t informed them about. Will be back for sure!!

Make sure you make a reservation to eat here while you’re in Marlborough. They get booked up fast. Possibly the only really good restaurant in the area. The staff and food are fantastic. We had the burger and chips, the burger was good and the fries even better. We sat outside with a glass of wine and enjoyed the views and the sun.

So good we ate here twice in two days.Everything we ate was very tasty - with special mention going to the beef rib which was sublime. Melt in the mouth with fantastic accompaniments.I did think the duck could have been rendered down a bit more as there was some fatty parts that hadn’t melted. Also the duck leg was quite small!Still overall the place was fantastic - food, venue, location and service. Highly recommend you won’t be disappointed!
