The view from here is extremely beautiful!!You can see entire Wellington from up here. But the bunkers are covered in graffiti. I am not against graffiti..but not on a old army bunker. And these bunkers are littered with empty spray paint bottles, beer bottles etc. I just hope people stop doing it!

It's free, it's a exceptional view, very easy to get too. Could pack a picnic and chill, great walk but I feel like the council have no advertising for it only the windmill. It's amazing and beautiful great walk up

This is my favourite spot to sit and watch Wellington! It's a beautiful walk up here no matter which track you take, even walking via the streets of Brooklyn is nice.It's beautiful and sunny up here, and there's a view that stretches right to Petone and beyond. Be warned though, it is very windy, even when there is barely a breeze at sea level it can be very blustery up here.The army bunkers are interesting to explore, they often have interesting graffiti as well which changes often.It's a nice little piece of history repurposed as a beautiful place to hang out and admire the view!

Such a nice place to come. Especially on a clear day. Though I haven't tried it yet, I feel this place would be awesome to come to during sunrise. Bring a camera along with you!Edit: I came here to watch the sunrise. I have to say it's an absolute must do. Add it to your bucket lists!!
