SATOMI NAILS

Satomi does the best job with my nails and has done a marvellous job to strengthen my nails. Her technique is impeccable, as she does Japanese gel nails. Always get compliments from people because of my nails. I’m a repeat customer. Also an absolutely lovely person inside and out.

It was my first time getting my nails done since pre-covid, so I was looking forward to it. As you can see in the photo, Satomi did a great job. I really liked how she put the time and care in when shaping and caring my nails. But the whole thing still didn’t take long and finished just under an hour! :) I went during my lunch break and was back in the office in time.Highly recommend!**3weeks after, nails are still going strong as per the second photo. I just booked another appointment for tomorrow to get them redone as I don’t like to keep my nails long. But if you go for the deep french dip design, I think it would last you really long!

Called in for a gel nail repair after a terrible result at Sassi Nail Bar in High Street, and they were able to squeeze me in for an appointment for that morning. Satomi saw that the other place did a really shoddy gel application and the nails were uneven. She got to work and removed the gel, filed the nails evenly, and cleared out the cuticles and shaping. Satomi took the time and extra care to shape my nails before adding in a beautiful gel colour. Safe to say she did an excellent job at my gel nail repair in such a short time. Highly recommend this nail salon for High Street / Chancery area.

This was my first time going to Satomi Nails and I had the best experience! I still can't stop looking at my nails and I can't believe they're my real nails haha I love the shape, the subtle ombre colouring, the cuticle oil, the whole process... literally everything <3 Satomi is amazing and I highly recommend her. Her attention to detail is crazy good, she's so talented, I learned a few little things about nails, I felt comfortable and she's so easy to talk to while you get your nails done (even for me with all my anxiety and insecurities). I'll definitely be back! :D

I am a new customer and I will be a repeat customer to Satomu Nails.I just arrived to Auckland a few days ago and needed an appointment to remove my gel nails which has taken a battering from moving home.There was no availability for 6 days and i needed an appointment before then I requested if I could be put on her cancellation list. Satomi squeezed me in that day.The salon is tucked away but easy to find with Google maps. The salon is combined with a hairdressers. Santomi was with a client but i was still greeted on arrival.Santomi was friendly and chatty through the appointment. I advised what I needed and thanked her for popping me in. I had my old gel off. She knew the colour name and number at a glance (I had the nails done in Scotland).She sorted out the broken nails gave me a wee hand massage while giving me food and drink recommendations the city. My nails are looking healthy and in good condition following removal.She was a pure pleasure to meet and I will 100% be back again.Thank you.

Amazing experience! I love the nails Satomi did for me so much! She is a true artist & I just love how she managed to transform my hands & nails which are usually working in clay & materials. So happy, thanks Satomi!!

Satomi is the best. She did my wedding nails and they were amazing. She is incredibly precise, takes a lot of care and the result is always amazing. She is the consummate professional and worth every penny.

I've been to several nail salons, both small business and chain salons, and Satomi was the first nail tech to note that my nail beds were different lengths, and adjusted the length of the tip so that I wound up with very similar length once the nails were painted so the end result looked very even. Just an example that highlights her attention to detail. She's also very lovely and I had a great experience. The only thing that was less than ideal was that the finish on the nail was very dull, I don't think she did an alcohol wipe over the gel to finish it so that might have been the issue.
