Excellent spot for GF and vegan food. Not a vegan myself but definitely still enjoyed the meal. Super quiet when we went but still had a good atmosphere. Friendly staff and good sized portions of food. Definitely recommend it.

My sister and I were visiting Nelson and decided we would like vegetarian for dinner so we popped into East St and we were warmly welcomed and taken care of by Malakai. He was so helpful and went out of his way to help us to have the best experience. We had a small serve of garlic bread for entree and then I had the Spanakopita special while my sister had the Stack Attack (not sure if correct name) , both were delicious and very satisfying. We highly recommend East St and the service.

Love this place! Finally, a real Vegan/Plant Based restaurant and I do friends like the food here too. Delicious variety of starters, mains and desserts. Great wine and lovely hospitality! All my kids love it too!

When you walk in it’s an instant wow, the decor is amazing!I’ve been here twice now and both times the food has been on point with some of the best vegan food I’ve had.The first time I got the nachos which were amazing. My friend got one of the salads with falafel and it looked good so I came back a couple of days later and ordered it.It was really tasty, it had so many different flavours which had the sourness from the pickled cabbage and the nuttiness of the tahini and the seeds which made it really well balanced. My dad got the sandwich and fries which he said he really enjoyed, we also got the immunity tea which was really yummy.I’m here on holiday and I intend to come back at least once again before I leave.

We have high expectations of this place. What we ordered were let down. The garlic bread was too hard while the pesto was too salty. The service went fine though.Updated: You replied after a month, you could have made a gazillion of pesto after my visit hence the taste is not the same. You're such an arrogant owner who cannot take negative comments. Maybe you're perfect? But then NOBODY is perfect.

Really delicious food here! I had the chickpea fries and the chicken burger. Had to stop myself from trying the Creme Brûlée. Will be coming back and trying that again next time for sure!

What can I say that a lot of others haven't already.....Well if your a carnivore but would like to know what all the fuss is about with vegan food then this is the place to good.Absolutely delicious food. Soo well flavoured and great portion sizes.I highly recommend the garbanzo fingers. They are like eating the softest most delicious cloud. Super dense and surprisingly heavy for what they are. This is how vegetarian and vegan food should be.This is the gold standard.

TLDR: I hate to do it to a city's only vegan restaurant, but we literally could not finish our food, it was not good, nor fresh.Food: we were so excited to find an all vegan restaurant in such a small town. Unfortunately, it became clear right away that the high ratings come from a lack of competition (or maybe they just had a bad day). However, we ordered coffee and a chai latte. The coffee was bitter and tasted old. We also ordered nachos, breakfast scramble, and chickpea fries. The nachos had a pool of grease in the bowl we've never experienced with nachos before making the entire bottom greasy and soggy. The cheese" was quite bland and every ingredient tasted canned. The chickpea fries had no seasoning and looked great but tasted like nothing
