Reliable Cabs

The WORST cab driver I have EVER had. I was not only charged over $27 to go less than a kilometer, but I was also late to an event due to this cab company. The cab driver took many pointless side streets, and missed the most important turn. Had to get out and walk over a kilometer in the rain. Unbelievable.

SO LOW AND SO RIP OFF ! I was short of a fare and the man decided that he will come back the next day to grab the rest of my fare, that was it. We already set a date and a time we were going to meet. And he agreed. I left my phone in the car and told him about it and he said I’ll bring it when we meet up for you to pay the rest of your fare. I agreed. All of a sudden he was running low on customers that night and told me to pay him $25 extra to drop off MY PHONE MY PROPERTY. Useless! Will be making a police report if he continues to keep this up this has been going on for 2 days now and I still haven’t got My phone !

Terrible experience, more like unreliable cabs!! Told us they were 10 mins away, took them 25 mins to pick us up. Then what should have been a $25 fee ended up being like $50 because the driver had no idea. Literally stopped with fare still running to set up his GPS. Really pathetic!! Will never use again!

I had a terrible experience with Reliable Cabs. The taxi driver took me on a loop double the length of the normal route as it was apparently faster" which it definitely wouldn't. A taxi that would normally cost around $15 cost $40. I emailed the director and he gave a poor excuse as to the overcharge and when I said I wanted to take it higher he never emailed back. I sent another email - no response."

Driver took me on a much wider drive than was necessary from the city to East Tamaki. I have done this trip many times, and even in heavy morning traffic doesn't take more than about 45-50 minutes and around $80 max. This took over an hour, and $114! Other staff who had made a similar drive that morning agreed that I'd been ripped off!

6th September 2017- Can't bloody drive! This just happened. I was turning right at the lights at the top of Te Irirangi drive coming off the Southern motorway. I was behind another car and one of your drivers was in the right hand lane. Lights went green and without even indicating and I don't think they checked their blind spot either they cut across the lane to come into the our lane right infront of me almost hitting my car! Didnt even notice or indicate that they were sorry! Than the turn to come into countdown they didn't even indicate that they were turning left they just turned until they saw me right behind them turning left (i wasn't sure if they were turning left to come into the shops or getting in the left hand lane to go further down Te Irirangi) anyway it wasn't until they had already made the turn that they decided to indicate. Useless

Wanted to do less than 1 stars. Worst manners and driving skills. One of your drivers was in front of us in Highbury last night, and not only did he drive very slowly (less than 20km/hr), he couldn't even turn properly at the round abouts. In addition, he kept going over the midline of the road, and when turning he was so slow that I had to honk at him to avoid getting hit by a car coming towards us. Worst part is, the driver started aggressively talking to us (I was with my dad), and started flashing his lights after we got out of the car. He even waited for us to come back to keep aggressively talking to us. I honestly thought he was drunk, until he got out of the car to keep harrassing us. Absolutely appalled.

I was lucky to flag Anwar. He got me home safe, driving well and was kind and friendly. I believe he and his wife are expecting a baby girl in April. Congratulations Anwar, I think you will be a wonderful father. My own Dad is grateful that you took such good care of me.

Driver took my partner on a very long route to get to destination $60. Normally a $40 Taxi ($25 Uber). Was on snapchat, texting while driving and wouldn't listen to her instructions on the correct way to go.
